In for review are four new fruity drink flavours from e-liquid maestros IVG in their 50ml Drinks range.
IVG don’t need much by way of introduction. Since 2014 they’ve been banging out e-liquid flavour after flavour with a firm focus on satisfying customer’s needs. Those needs now span over 100 countries across 6 continents.
So with an ever expanding vape portfolio there’s something to suit every taste and every lifestyle.
They’re not short on awards either. Since inception they’ve won countless, including Best E-liquid UK Brand Award here at Ecigclick in 2021.
More recently they’ve ploughed into the well-trodden path that is the disposable e-cigarette market. Once again the IVG Bar, IVG Bar Plus and IVG Diamond disposables have reflected the care and attention that goes into making a vape great!
Today I’m taking a look at four summer drinks profiles which is quite fitting really.
The first IVG flavour was released way back on 5th March, 2014 in Preston, UK.
It was aptly named “Summer Blaze”.
What Can We Expect From The IVG 50ml Drinks Range?
There’s no sign of a concentrate for any of the four yet but because it’s a brand new range. IVG will no doubt be keeping an eye on the success factor before considering them.
They have catered for most vapers requirements though and the range is available in salt nicotine ratios of either 10mg or 20mg in the obligatory TPD compliant bottles.
There’s a 50VG/50PG version and these come in 3, 6, 12 or 18mg freebase nicotine ratios. Again, they’re obviously 10ml TPD compliant.
If the words PG and VG leave you scratching your head – it’s not nits (well it might be) we tell you what they mean in our Guide To E-liquids.
I’m looking at the 70VG/30PG short fill range. These come in a 60ml bottle (50ml 0mg e-juice) with space for one 18mg nic shot to bring the strength up to 3mg.
Keep in mind that as usual with IVG, multi purchases will get you the best deal.
Presentation
I usually find it hard to find fault with the IVG bottle labelling and it’s no different with these four. They’ve been rolled on neat and tidily and include all the relevant safety warnings and side effects.
The labels themselves are bright and colourful and the metallic silver backgrounds really help to make them stand out on the shelves of vape shops up and down the land.
It would be nice if they included the starting VG/PG juice ratio and maybe some fruits depicting the flavour inside but this is the IVG way and it’s never failed them thus far.
The lids are tamper proof as is required and the nozzles are needle tip so users of fiddly pod kits won’t be feeling left out!
Getting inside the bottle top to administer a nic shot is the usual pain in the butt, although there is a cut out to get a finger nail under. That’s if you’ve got finger nails! lol

Today I’ll Mostly Be Vaping On…
I’m going to be using my ever reliable Hellvape Dead Rabbit V2 RDA to test the IVG 70/30 Drinks range. Dual Wotofo fused Clapton coils ohming in at 0.11 and vaping at 85W with fresh Cotton Gods cotton being applied for each test.
Please do remember that taste is always subjective and the choice of device used makes a difference too.
These are my own experiences and the scores will be based on flavour quality, replication, consistency plus not to mention overall vapour production.
So the question as always with IVG is… Do they vape great?
Caribbean Crush
IVG Says:
A totally tropical taste full of Pineapple, Grapefruit and Sunshine!
I Say:
On the initial inhale, the back of the throat receives an icy cool blast that lingers well after the vape itself. It also leaves an impression on the roof of the mouth.
The sweetness of the fruit is prominent from the word go and introduces itself during the inhale.
Caribbean Crush represents a very good fusion of two well-known tropical fruits. Both are prominent during the exhale and are very fresh, ripe and tasty.
Much of the bitterness of the Grapefruit mixes in with the sweeter elements and help to maximise overall flavour quality. I would say it has the edge over the Pineapple but both do blend seamlessly.
I found when upping the wattage more of the Pineapple was able to pull through.
There’s absolutely nothing synthetic or artificial about Caribbean Crush and it’s a very natural tasting vape. It’s very succulent.
I do find the Coolada to be a little bothersome for the effect it gives because to me, it outstays its welcome. Its horses for courses – there are bound to be folk that prefer it this way.
A tasty tropical treat, Caribbean Crush is an excellent accompaniment for the long summer months.
Fruit Twist
IVG Says:
A juicy blend of Peach, Mango, Pineapple and Passionfruit.
I Say:
Wow! That’s an interesting blend and so complex I have to try to think of what I taste first.
I think Mango just edges it into first place but the Peach soon follows which is very ripe, succulent and fresh tasting. It smooths off the edges of the tropical Pineapple notes yet combine to provide an insanely good vape.
It’s not very often that I can pick out three complementing fruits in a vape but IVG have somehow made it much easier.
Again, Fruit Twist is another juicy vape. It oozes sweetness, bitterness and citrus back notes have been thrown in for good measure.
There’s a touch of cooling agent but in general doesn’t interfere with or break up the overall flavour experience. It’s not very intense, put it that way.
This one scores a straight 10 for flavour blending alone. I think IVG have done a remarkable job with Fruit Twist.
Get ready, summer! Fruit Twist is here.
Rio Rush
IVG Says:
A blend of Orange, Pineapple, Banana and Passionfruit that will transport your taste buds to a tropical paradise.
I Say:
Rio Rush creates an icy cold blast to the throat during inhale and it’s the first thing I notice. It hits quite hard but amplifies the flavour this e-liquid provides.
There’s plenty of sweetness mixed in with the Coolada on the way in which is replaced with tart on the exhale. I think that’s where the Passionfruit comes in.
The citrus notes of the Orange are in abundance, tickling the taste buds throughout the vape.
Although Orange is the aroma emitted by the bottle nozzle the actual taste experience is more about Pineapple in my opinion. It’s the driving force with Rio Rush.
I can pick out Orange but its quite low key, restricting itself towards the end of the exhale. It leaves faint traces on the palate, late doors.
I don’t personally notice much in the way of Banana. There are possibly one or two back notes but Pineapple dominates in terms of taste.
Overall, Rio Rush is likely to be a sure fire summer vaping hit. Even if some of the ingredients are slightly underplayed.
Vimade Fusion
IVG Says:
The bursting flavours of Raspberry, Orange and Passionfruit. A delicious taste sensation.
I Say:
This is an interesting combination of flavours that I don’t think I’ve tried before. To be honest, I’m not sure I like it that much. None of the included fruits seem to be fusing very well.
There doesn’t seem to be a clear enough definition between them. There’s a mix of sweetness, tanginess and sourness experienced all at once during the exhale which is fine but the flavour properties seem to be somewhat skewed, in my opinion.
If anything it’s the Passionfruit that pulls through while Raspberry is very much in the background. I expected it to be much more dominant since it’s the first time it appears within this drinks range.
As for the Orange? Nada… It’s very low key. I don’t even pick out any associated citrus back notes to underscore the flavour.
Once again, Coolada plays a pivotal role but doesn’t really add anything to Vimade Fusion.
It’s not the lively fruity cocktail I was expecting. The flavour’s far too subtle.
IVG 50ml Drinks Range – Final Review Verdict
The range is generally well crafted and flavour is consistent during each and every vape. I got plenty of taste and flavour right up to the point of re dripping on the RDA.
There’s oodles of sweetness here but it fits the style of the range. It perfectly accompanies the fruits on offer and help to bring out the overall juiciness needed for these beverage inspired e-liquids to work effectively.
I did have issues with Vimade Fusion because it was the only time I thought flavour blending was lacking. Pineapple also played maybe too much of a role in the range overall but otherwise I was getting pretty much what was mentioned in the description.
Vapour production was excellent and what I expected to get from an RDA. Let’s just say windows needed to be flung open! lol
The liquid itself had a good thickness for a 70/30 blend and the coils remained gunk free. There was little discolouration to the cotton. The fact that the range is devoid of any unnecessary colourant helps.
Overall the IVG drinks range is solid and they’ll help you keep your cool during the long, hot summer months.
