The Irish vape advocacy group “Respect Vapers” has issued a Call to action!
In an email, social media and online campaign they are asking for vapers in Ireland to raise their voice.
If you’re a vaper in Europe then this message is for you!
Some in the #EU would like to pass a #vapeflavourban which would be detrimental to smokers looking to quit through #vaping.

Ireland is part of the EU and therefore any EU regulations will affect them. This is also applicable to other EU member nations (not the UK).
In this instance there is a threat of a flavour ban by the EU, and people need to speak up!
This consultation is also open to Non EU members – you can select this option when you finally get to the survey! I live in the UK and have had my say!
How To Get Involved
Unfortunately responding to the questionnaire is a bit long winded – so I have given details on how to take part…
I am not sure if this process has been made deliberately difficult to put people off responding – it is bloody annoying.
PLEASE DON’T BE PUT OFF!
Below is a poster from Respect Vapers with an easy scan link – simply put your mobile phone into camera mode, point it at the QR code and then tap the link which comes up.

- Scroll down the page to “Public Consultation” and click the “Go to consultation” link.
- Further down the next page is the “Respond to the questionnaire” button – click that!
Now you will have to create an account in order to take part – but it is worth doing to get your voice heard.
Then wait for the confirmation email which invites you to create a password, once done you can log in and start the survey.
I know it is all such a ball-ache – but please don’t be put off and get your views known.
When you actually start to fill out the questionnaire it is as glitchy as hell – so be patient as it takes yonks for the next section to load! I nearly gave up – but please don’t!
You have until 16th May 2023 to complete the public consultation survey.
