The Innokin MVP 3.0 Pro has followed quickly on from the release of the MVP 3.0, a sequel to one of the most well known mods out there, the MVP 2.
Innokin are a trusted brand name in the vaping industry, arguably one of the largest, and are synonymous with top selling and great releases that are loved by vapers everywhere.
They have been a little quiet as of late, but have been getting fast out the door again releasing mods such as the MVP 3.0, MVP 3.0 Pro and the Innokin Cool Fire 4. More recently the Innokin Proton kit, excellent.
The MVP 3.0 was previously reviewed by us to great acclaim here.
Does the MVP 3.0 Pro offer the same outstanding qualities as the MVP 3.0 and more?
Whats In The Box?
The Innokin MVP 3.0 Pro was received for review as part of the Innokin MVP 3.0 Pro Kit which comes complete with the iSub G sub ohm clearomiser, which we have reviewed separately.
You can also purchase the MVP3.0 Pro as a standalone without the iSub G sub ohm clearomizer. In the Innokin MVP 3.0 Pro Kit box you get-
- Innokin MVP 3.0 Pro
- iSub G sub ohm clearomizer pre fitted with 0.5 ohm coil
- Instruction manual
- USB Charger
- 510/ego adapter
The perfect little kit to get going with really here! You can get going straight out of the box with no messing around.
Battery / Body / Build
It’s the same style as was used with the MVP 3.0. It’s a great looking box mod which sits in your hand perfectly, the rounded edges feel nice in your hand and the buttons are all easy reachable and operated.
I must say that will the rigorous usage I have put the MVP 3.0 Pro through the finish hasn’t picked up a single scratch.
As per the MVP 3.0 the power button is found to the side, LED battery indicator on top, OLED screen on the same side as the Power button along with the plus and minus buttons to change your settings.
The OLED screen is clear and crisp, easily readable and offers you information on your battery status, resistance, output voltage and power setting.
The same four colors that were available with the MVP 3.0 are available here, stainless steel, black, blue and pink, but there is a limited edition gold version available which is the one I have.
It looks excellent, with a honeycombed design replete with itaste MVP 3.0 Pro in a stylish font on the side. It’s solid as a rock and built to withstand heavy day to day usage.
The built in 4500 mAh battery just seems to go on forever. Only downside to this is that it can take a long time to charge back up via micro USB, but once charged you have a box mod that will outlast the competition.
The MVP 3.0 Pro as an added bonus also doubles up as a power bank, enabling you to charge other devices such as your phone through the built in micro USB lead found at the bottom, or alternatively you can plug a USB into the ‘Output’ socket to charge your device.
The old MVP models required you to manually switch a button at the bottom to enable the output charging capabilities, now you just plug in your device and it will automatically begin charging it.

How Does The Innokin MVP3 Pro Perform?
Being able to fire resistances down to 0.2ohms and up to 60 watts means the MVP 3.0 Pro is really aiming for those who love high power. Virtually any sub ohm clearomiser available today will run completely fine on the MVP 3.0 Pro.
This really does output some serious power and the gold plated connector pin helps to deliver this to your atomizer.
It’s not skipped a single beat when in use and the available power range means that there is something here for everyone.
The simple menu system is really easy to use. 3 clicks of the power button turn on the MVP 3.0 Pro, and you adjust the power by holding down either the plus or minus buttons briefly until the power output blinks, then just press either button to select your desired power level.
Holding down both the plus and minus buttons will display a puff counter, and a puff timer will appear when you hold down the power button so you can time your puffs if you so wish.
All atomizers I tried on the MVP 3.0 sat perfect and flush, and the 510 threading is really smooth, it’s also very solid and able to withstand some heavy usage.
As mentioned above, battery life, a hallmark of the MVP series, is fantastic and unless you are really running the MVP 3.0 Pro heavily at the top end of its power capabilities you are looking at battery life measured in days.
I have been using mine at 30 watts reasonably heavily and the battery lasted a full week before needing a charge. That is outstanding.
Final Thoughts
The MVP 3.0 Pro really has it all. It’s a rock of a box mod that you can really depend on, the extended battery life and output power really make a world of difference and make the MVP 3.0 Pro a must have mod. This is a huge triumph for Innokin and hopefully a sign of even more better things to come from one of the favorite brands in the industry.
I just can’t fault the MVP 3.0 Pro, it really has it all.
This is at the top for mod of the year so far!
The Good
- Market leading battery life
- Absolutely rock solid build quality
- Power bank charging function is a great extra to charge your devices on the move
- Really powerful mod
- Great responsive buttons
- Accurate resistance reading of your coil
- Fires down to 0.2 ohms
The Not So Good
- Takes a long time to fully charge
- Battery is fixed and not replaceable
- It’s a bit on the hefty side
Anybody looking for their first box mod this is a perfect box to get.
Great features and build, highly recommended.
I have owned the mvp2 and the mvp3 pro knocks it out of the park. Love the long battery life and performs extremely well, just as you would expect an innokin mod should. I got mine with the isub G tank, and was glad I did, it is a very well made tank.
