Innokin are to many folks the grand daddy of the vape scene but not so much for RDA’s, the Innokin iRoar Eurus RDA on review today is a step away from the norm for the brand.
They have many Mods under their belt from the earliest iTaste MVP to the more up to date The Big Box Atlas 200w. They also have a few wacky type mods that caused a laugh back in the day like the Cool Fire 2 (the one that looked like a hand grenade) Innokin also have panache for starter kits to suit the newest of vapers like JEM/Goby or Endura T20-S, they also have many stock coil tanks like Scion 2, the Zenith and Ares MTL RTA to name a few.
“Eurus meaning is the Greek God of the East Wind. He was thought to bring warmth and rain”.

Design and Build Quality
The Innokin iRoar Eurus is made of gold plated stainless steel, aluminium-magnesium alloy and PEI Ultem and integrated airflow, the design and quality of this RDA is really good, the packaging and extras that come with it are also excellent quality.
The RDA dismantles in to 4 parts for easy cleaning – 6 if you take out the 2 posts.
Build Deck
The deck is 24mm, made of gold plated stainless steel with block style posts and a deep juice well. The positive post sits on a peek insulator, around the outer edge of the deck are 2 angled cut out slots for airflow, you will also see 2 heat treated O rings to keep the cap in place. The base of the deck is rather plain, the 510 threads are well milled, the 510 positive connection pin is gold plated, you will also note negative pin screw, removal of both these pins further increases the cleaning capability of this RDA.
Cap /Airflow
Is made of aluminium-magnesium alloy the cap has a deep engraving which says iRoar Eurus. Either side are 2 angled in airflow slots.
The interior of the cap is slightly bevelled so any liquid splashes or condensation drip back down to your cotton.
Driptip/510 mod protector
Is made of yellow PEI Ultem and is a wide bore goon style 810 tip.
As a unique feature Innokin have included a yellow PEI Ultem washer that screws on to the 510 thread and sits between your RDA and Mod, protecting them both from heat and scratches.
A basic guide to coiling/wicking the Innokin iRoar Eurus RDA
- Take off the cap install the coils you wish to use with the Eurus.
- Insert your cotton through the coils and tuck the tails down into the deck.
- Moisten with your choice of e-liquid replace the cap – Vape On.
Although Innokin state up to 3.5mm coils can be installed into the Eurus I have used 4mm coils, seating them slightly closer to the posts, the coils that come with the RDA are Kanthal 3.5mm Flapton’s.
For those that can’t make their own coils pre made coils are available either on the net or in local vape shops.
How Does The Innokin iRoar Eurus Perform?
For this review I had the Eurus RDA sitting on my Asmodus Minikin V2 loaded with 3.5mm Kanthal Flapton’s that come with the RDA and wicked with one of my own DIY e-liquids a classic Strawberry and Kiwi 3mg nicotine 80/20 mix.
25w
Airflow almost closed I get a very acceptable mouth to lung style vape, while the vapour wasn’t as thick as I’d like it to be the flavour was rocking, the airflow was slightly noisy.
45w
With the airflow opened half way the RDA produced a very nice, acceptable restricted direct to lung style of vape. The flavour was very good and the vapour was thick, no noise from the airflow apart from what you would normally expect.
60w+
Airflow wide, the MTL style of vape was excellent with great flavour; I found that from 80w and finishing with 100w the flavour dropped slightly but not enough to warrant a negative from me.
Heat
There is no getting away from it from 80 to 100W this RDA does produce a lot of heat as it does at lower wattages when chain vaping it, the cap becomes so hot at times I cannot put my lips anywhere near the metal cap.
Vapour
The Eurus RDA has the potential for an incredible amount of vapour production I would almost call it a comp RDA, it easily filled my small office in a few minutes at 100w.
I had no problems with dry puffs as this RDA has a large juice well, neither have I had any problem with leakage in the time I have been using the iRoar Eurus, the wide driptip enables me to splurge my liquid without the hassle of removing the cap.
Someone said to me that the Innokin iRoar Eurus looks like the Desire Mad Dog V1 and indeed by the photos I have seen the only differences I can see is that Mad Dog is printed upon the positive post and that they have used Philips head screws instead of the chub Allen screws that Innokin have put in the Eurus, I would also say that the engraving on the Eurus top cap looks a better quality than that of the Mad Dog.
Pros
- Excellent vapour production
- Excellent flavour
- A good looking RDA
- Excellent design and build quality
- Easy to maintain
- Large juice well
Cons
- Cap gets very hot at high watts or chain vaping
- No spare driptip or adaptor
- No info on coil material
Final Review Verdict
I don’t often put in words how much I have love using a product but in this case I can state 100% that I love the Innokin iRoar Eurus RDA. For me it’s a very good fit, providing both flavour and vapour production!
Would I buy this RDA again should I loose or have it stolen Yes I would! lol In fact I loved it so much I already bought 2 more and use them in my daily rotation on various mods.
