Latest Edition to the iClear Range of Clearomisers
The innokin iClear 30B clearomiser is part of the Innokin clearo family that included the iClear 30 and iClear 30s. I received iClear 30B’s on both the Cool Fire 1 and Cool Fire 2 but for this review I am using this clearomiser on the Cool Fire 2.

iClear 30B Setup
The iClear 30B has a replaceable bottom dual coil with heads available in 1.5 ohm and 2.1 ohm. These are housed in a marked 3ml capacity polycarbonate tank with threading on either end for the top tube shaft and the base that contains the coil head.
The head consists of 2 coils and wicks that sit stacked perpendicular to each other, as mentioned the head is replaceable but isn’t rebuild-able. Not a problem for me as I don’t personally rebuild coil heads at the moment.
I received 2 30B’s, one with a standard stainless steel mouth piece and one with the rotatable tip that was introduces with the iClear 30.
The tank is filled by unscrewing the tank from the base section, turning upside down and dripping down the inner wall.
A little care does need to be taken here to ensure you don’t fill past the tube shaft, last thing you want is a mouthful of juice on your first drag!
The stainless steel base and top comes complete with stripes which I don’t personally like the look of and after a week or so of handling these started to show a bit of wear and tear. Apart from the the whole tank has a good solid construction.
iClear 30B Performance
The first couple of days of using the 30B were great, it produced plumes of vapour and with the juice I was using worked well with the higher wattage settings of the Cool Fire 2.
It all started going wrong after that for me. Gurgling and leaking began and I found myself having to remove the clearo to mop up the mess from my battery head and blow out juice through the mouthpiece into a tissue.
This was happening regularly and despite taking it apart, cleaning, drying and putting back together the issue continued. In between though it did provide stellar performance.
I have just ordered some replacement heads so I am hoping the stock atomiser heads were the problem but it happened in both of my tanks so I’m not sure this will rectify the problem, I will of course update here if things do improve.
UPDATE: New heads arrived and after 4 days I have had no issues at all, the 30B has been performing very well producing some great vapour volume and flavour.
I must have just had an issue with the previous heads, maybe there was a seal issue. Anyway, I’m glad to see it working a treat now, Minion Farts have never tasted so good!.
Overall
Initially the Innokin iClear 30B was giving some great results in both the vapour and flavour departments and I must say it carried on doing so in between the flooding and leaking issues I was having.
It was unfortunate I was having to remove the clearomiser, mop up and blow out e-liquid on a far too regular basis.
As mentioned though I did I order some replacement heads and the problems were no more, the iClear 30B produced great results all around.
