The iJoy Neptune 2 Pod Kit is the latest addition to the Neptune family of pod kits.
This family includes the Neptune X and the original Neptune Pod.
What To Expect From The iJoy Neptune 2 Pod Kit…
As mentioned above this is a pod kit so you should expect plenty of simplicity without sacrificing flavour!
The two main components of the kit are the mod (or battery section) and the Pod where the coil and e-liquid live.
The pods are refillable with up to 2ml of your own e-liquid via the side fill port and are supposedly leak-proof.
Inside the pod is the 0.8ohm mesh coil however this is not removable. When the coil performance has deteriorated you remove the pod and replace with a new one – no faffing about changing coils.
The mod component houses a 650mAh battery which is recharged via the USB Type C port but the charge rate and time are not specified.
Output wise this is not specified however it does say it has a “Bypass” output, which basically means that the battery will output full power. This is sometimes annoying as when the battery charge depletes the output will gradually drop in power.
Sadly the iJoy website is not very informative and there is no mention of any kind of indicator to display battery charge or fault conditions.
The designs on the mod body are covered with a glass cover to protect the finish.
There are 5 colour options to choose from: Tech, Peacock, Lava, Beast and Tiger.
