Yep I know – another “pod mod” – this is the Hotcig Sniper Kit.
What has caught my eye is the design of this device and how it resembles some single battery mods. I will tell you more below!
What To Expect From The Hotcig Sniper Kit?
The most striking design feature for me is the battery cap. This reminds me of devices such as the Vaporesso Swag 2 and the Eleaf Pico X. Like both of these mods the battery compartment is a top access jobby with a screw on cap.
Although this uses a single 18650 battery – it doesn’t have a standard 510 connector (which seems such a shame – are you listening Hotcig?).
Instead this uses a removable and refillable pod system.
The pod will hold up to 3.2ml of e-liquid and is refillable via a side fill port on the pod.
The coils are replaceable thankfully and there are 2 coil options – both included in the kit:
- 0.17ohm mesh (50W recommended)
- 0.4ohm mesh (26W recommended).
I am not sure if this has adjustable airflow – I have seen conflicting info on vendor sites and Hotcig website doesn’t mention this at all.
Moving on to the actual device, this has a HM-80W chip and will output up to 80W and has variable wattage control.
A 0.96in colour screen located on the side displays all your vaping data.
There are 5 colours to choose from: Miami Blue, Danxia Red, Aurora Purple, Canola Yellow and Lava Orange.
