Today I’m looking at a brand I’ve never heard of before. It’s Vape Gold and their range of Gold Bar disposable vapes.
It seems this manufacturer is swathed in mystery to a greater extent and all that I can gather is that they ‘may’ originate from the United Arab Emirates. That’s very little to work with, I know and I apologise.
The only other information I can glean is that Vape Gold work in accordance to industry specs, producing devices that deliver an incredibly smooth draw with exceptional flavour retention.
And to create their signature flavours they work with the world’s premier flavour houses on blends that can’t be replicated elsewhere.
So can we expect a radically different experience from the Gold Bar? Does it offer something unique in the world of disposable vapes? And have they struck Gold when it comes to flavour quality?
That’s what you’re here to find out.
What Can We Expect From the Gold Bar Disposable Vapes?
We’re treated to a ‘hyper mesh coil’. And that’s really as much as I can tell you about the beating heart of this disposable. There’s every possibility the resistance is in the region of 1.2ohm but please don’t quote me on that.
The Gold Bar range comes in 20mg salt nicotine strength in TPD regulated zones and the device is powered by a 500mAh integrated battery and we should get anything in the region of 600 puffs before it needs to be disposed of – responsibly.
It’s ready to vape straight out of the box and as usual for a disposable, auto draw is the order of the day.
A single Blue LED on the base keeps track of battery status while vaping and alerts of when it’s had enough.
The Gold Bar can be picked up in a total of 22 different flavours. These are mostly fruity affairs with an ice cold touch added here and there.
Design Quality
Literally shaped like a Gold Bar, the packaging is effective. Yes, it may appear gimmicky to some but put it this way – they caught my eye in the local corner shop.
So in terms of presentation the outer cartons would appear to do the job of raising curiosity levels in the very least. I call that good marketing, myself.
The disposables are protected and kept fresh inside a sealed plastic bag and a safety leaflet is also included.
That even reminds us to remove the silicone mouthpiece stopper and sealing sticker on the base. Again, nice touch if only as a minor thing – it’s often overlooked.
It’s when we rip that bag open we come to realise that to all intent and purposes, the Gold Bar is shaped like, well, a traditional disposable vape.
Right down to those familiar dimensions. With such extravagant packaging am I a little deflated? I am a touch, to be honest.
I do like the Anodised Aluminium body and signature Gold finish.
The mouthpiece is injection moulded and so is the base. In fact as a fan of Black and Gold, the Gold Bar looks kind of elegant in its own way.
The flavour identity is clearly printed vertically upwards on one side, along with nicotine strength and fruit icons are displayed on the other. Nice touch, Vape Gold.

OK, before moving on to flavour testing I’d like to thank Vape Club for sending these over for the purposes of review. It’s very much appreciated.
Do remember that flavour is always subjective. What I like or loathe may be the reverse in your case.
In other words use my findings as a basic understanding of what to expect.
Raspberry Watermelon
Vape Gold Says:
Combines the succulent sweetness of ripe Raspberries with the refreshing juiciness of Watermelon, creating a dynamic flavour duo that brings a burst of fruity bliss to your taste buds with every delightful encounter.
I Say:
Yeah, I’d class this one as dynamic. It’s a very, very good blending of Watermelon and Raspberry.
There’s a mountain of sweetness to be experienced from the inhale and sets the scene for a decent flavour fusion on the exhale.
This is a very tangy yet sour vape where the two fruits emerge in a finely balanced state.
It’s not a case of Watermelon followed by Raspberry either. The blend works instantly to create an almost new flavour altogether. Clever stuff.
You will need to be prepared for that sweetness, though and to not expect a particularly natural tasting vape.
However Raspberry Watermelon has flavour by the vape load and is highly consistent from first inhale to last gasp exhale.
Other manufacturers could take a lesson from the use of Koolada too. Its bang on point, lifting this already well crafted blend to another level.
Blueberry Ice
Vape Gold Says:
Blueberry Ice transports you to a winter wonderland of luscious Blueberry goodness, as the icy-cool combines with the tantalizing flavour of Blueberries.
I Say:
Mmm. I’m really not too sure about this one at all.
The Blueberry initially spills out as full bodied and very flavoursome. Yet around mid way through the exhale it takes something of a turn for the worse.
It has a very odd smell around the ‘ole nasal cavities towards the end of the vape. I have to say that in terms of flavour consistency and performance, Blueberry Ice fares as the worst out of the bunch.
It’s a single fruit flavour so I really wouldn’t expect this to occur but it is what it is.
With maybe just a tad too much sweetness, the natural taste of Blueberry is unable to fully develop, if that makes sense.
And I also pick out that ‘Hairspray syndrome’ or aroma of Hairspray throughout. Not something I’m ever keen on experiencing.
Also, this fruit really doesn’t need the cooling that’s been applied. It enhances the flavour too much – Blueberry, for me, is more of a subtle tasting fruit.
But then again, all disposable vapes sell on the strength of enhanced flavour so it’s horses for courses, I guess.
Hawaiian Sunrise
Vape Gold Says:
Awaken your senses with a vibrant burst of Tropical flavours, combining the juicy sweetness of Peaches, the Tropical tang of Pineapples, and the refreshing essence of Watermelon, delivering a taste of paradise.
I Say:
Ooh! I do like this one. The Pineapple jumps straight out and its mouth wateringly good.
It does have similar characteristics to a Pineapple Cube sugar sweet but laced with a delicate hint of Peach. And that gives the flavour an added dimension and originality that I like.
I wouldn’t say Hawaiian Sunrise is particularly sweet and if anything it’s one of the drier tasting vapes in the review list but it’s still enjoyable nonetheless.
This is another incredibly smooth vape too, adding to flavour satisfaction.
It must be stressed however that Watermelon is very low key during exhale. I think the Pineapple dominates far too much for it to bleed through.
But that cooling blast during inhale is nice and punchy, helping with the invigorating freshness of the overall vaping experience.
When push comes to shove and I hadn’t had a flavour description to go by I’d say this was a straight shot at a Pineapple ice vape.
Peach Mango Watermelon
Vape Gold Says:
Combines the juicy succulence of Peaches, the tropical vibrancy of Mangoes, and the refreshing crispness of Watermelon, crafting a delectable symphony of flavours that dances on your taste buds with every delightful Vape.
I Say:
It’s an extremely sweet vape is this. I notice it from the very first inhale combined with the bitterness of the Watermelon.
Again, Vape Gold demonstrate their unique style of blending. Nothing really stands out as much as that Watermelon yet Peach does punctuate the vape on the odd occasion.
The trouble is, there’s very little sign of Mango. It’s a distinct enough fruit that carries its own characteristics but here, well. I struggle to locate it inside this swirling fusion of fruit.
Had there been an indication as part of the after taste, I’d say job done but Peach Mango Watermelon doesn’t quite live up to my expectations.
In fact I’d be more inclined to suggest this is a Watermelon Ice vape.
Bora Bora
Vape Gold Says:
Bora Bora captures the essence of Paradise with a tantalizing blend of sweet berries and tangy fresh Grapefruit, bringing a burst of Tropical delight to your taste buds.
I Say:
Bora Bora is similar to Prime. Only this time it’s like on steroids!
That Grapefruit is the star of the show without a doubt and I like the fresh qualities it brings. There is a fusion of other fruits going on but I do feel they’re not clearly defined.
To the point that I’m not sure what I’m supposed to be experiencing. Again it seems like Blueberry has been applied (or Vape Golds’ interpretation) and there may just be a few traces of Orange chucked in.
The Menthol properties can become harsh, very quickly so don’t vape too frequently if you want to avoid frozen lips!
There’s also oodles of sweetener infused with the blending. It borders on a sickly sweetness but the flavour still tops out so thankfully it’s not as noticeable.
Strawberry Peach
Vape Gold Says:
Intertwines the juicy sweetness of ripe Strawberries with the delicate essence of succulent Peaches, crafting a harmonious blend of flavours that brings the taste of summer to your palate.
I Say:
No. This one is a total let down and I’m just not sure what Vape Gold were trying to achieve with Strawberry Peach.
It’s not even the flavour that strikes me first, either. It’s the odd after taste that I find hard to fathom out.
I think it’s to do with the blending. It seems to come unstuck and creates a weird sting in the tale – towards the end of the vape.
Initially there does appear to be a fusion of two fruits. The Peach is certainly there, albeit very synthetic in output. Strawberry is also in the mix and to be fair, isn’t badly reproduced. It seems to soften the roughness of the Peach without being over sweet.
Aside from the strange taste generated around the palate at the end, Strawberry Peach isn’t a bad vape.
It just feels like the blending collapses towards the end and that’s a shame.
Prime
Vape Gold Says:
Delight your taste buds with a delectable blend of juicy Strawberries and a medley of mixed berries, delivering a burst of fruity goodness that is simply prime for your pleasure.
I Say:
This is a very pleasant tasting vape.
And there seems to be a lot of flavour mixing going on. There are as many floral notes as there are fruity. Personally a can pick out some trace elements of Orange – even though they’re not mentioned in the description.
I’m not over convinced with the Strawberry side of things. This vape seems very weak in that respect so don’t be expecting it to be the leading fruit on this occasion.
There’s more of that Orange I mention than any other darker fruit but if I were pushed, Blueberry would be the most dominant during the bulk of the exhale.
It’s very sweet and there’s plenty of cooling agent to keep things popping along quite nicely.
As I say, Prime is really all about flavour blending and it almost seems as though Vape Gold have come up with something unique, something different.
The flavour experience is definitely a new one on me.
Peach Ice
Vape Gold Says:
Takes the essence of perfectly ripe Peaches and infuses them with a cool and invigorating twist, delivering a refreshing burst of fruity sweetness that will leave you feeling rejuvenated with every icy indulgence.
I Say:
A nice, consistent tasting vape this one.
It’s also pleasant because the sweetness levels have been held in check.
Even the cooling properties of the vape are on point, really adding a refreshing clout to the exhale.
OK, this isn’t the most natural tasting Peach but it’s certainly one of the most accessible when it comes to disposable vapes.
Slightly tangy, aromatic and more subtle than most of this ilk.
You’re definitely getting what you’ve shelled out on with Peach Ice.
The inhale is silky smooth, the exhale full of flavour that remains well balanced throughout and the Koolada is the proverbial icing on this particular vape cake.
A fine tasting vape.
Super Mix
Vape Gold says
Super Mix disposable vape is a candy blend, combining an assortment of juicy mixed fruits with sugary notes from inhale to exhale
We say
Super Mix is pretty full frontal in the sweetness department. I could even smell the candied flavour when opening up the packet!
There’s juicy gummy bear flavouring, and a whole lot of sweetener amping up the flavour.
It is very punchy and sweet, not one that this dessert vaper could spend all day vaping however. I didn’t mind it in short bursts, but found myself switching between this one and another less sweet vape to balance it out.
Definitely can’t say this one is lacking in flavour!
If you have a sweet tooth then you’ll get on well with this one, but some people might find this a little too sweet for their tastes. I didn’t mind it personally!
Lemon Lime
Vape Gold says
Lemon Lime balances contrasting citrus notes. Zesty lemon and zingy lime plays between sweet and sour in this juicy-tasting blend
We say
I get lemon and lime ice lolly vibes out of this disposable.
There’s a very well balanced blend of lemon and lime flavouring, combining the two together without either the lemon or lime overpowering the other. There seems to be a bit of a chill on the exhale…though that could have been because I was vaping it outside on a cold winter day!
I did really enjoy this one, it is up there with the best lemon and lime flavoured disposable vapes that I have tried.
However, I was a bit disappointed that this disposable seemed to run out quite quickly.
I wasn’t keeping tabs on the amount of puffs that I got out of this one, but it didn’t seem like anywhere near 600- it just about lasted me half a day and I certainly wasn’t hammering it!
Cherry Fizz
Vape Gold says
Cherry Fizz captures the flavour of a classic berry soda. Deep cherry is met by the sugary notes of cola, for a vape that is equal parts sweet and juicy-tasting
We say
I felt that this tasted more like a cherry cola candied sweet in my opinion. It seems to lack any hint of fizz, despite the name.
However it is a tasty cherry cola vape. The cherry cola flavouring is quite strong and sweet, with sugary notes giving the mouth feel of a cherry cola sweet, rather than a beverage.
Although this is quite sweet, I wouldn’t say that it is overpoweringly so (unlike the Super Mix flavour!), and is a pretty pleasant vape overall.
Strawberry Watermelon
Vape Gold says
Strawberry Watermelon combines berry and tropical fruit. A sweet flavour is provided by strawberry whilst a crisp, juicy taste is added by watermelon
We say
I didn’t get on too well with this one! I just found that it was overwhelmingly sweet, certainly too sweet for my palate that is for sure.
I felt that the sweetness overwhelmed the strawberry and watermelon flavours. Both of which I felt were lacking and tasted rather artificial too. I also picked up on an odd sourness that didn’t really seem to fit in with the flavour profile.
Watermelon Cherry
Vape Gold says
Watermelon Cherry pairs light and dark fruit flavours. You’ll experience sweet notes of watermelon on each inhale, followed by the juicy taste of cherry
We say
This is predominantly a watermelon e-liquid, with the cherry coming in as a subtle
undertone.
Both the watermelon and the cherry flavours taste quite authentic, and I didn’t get any harsh artificial flavouring taste out of this, but I couldn’t get on with it. It didn’t really appeal to my palate.
Personally, it just isn’t a flavour combination that I enjoyed all that well to be honest.
Aloe Grape
Vape Gold says
Aloe Grape fuses botanical notes with a rich berry base. The unique, floral taste of aloe vera is interlaced with the sweet and juicy flavour of grape in every puff
We say
I wasn’t really getting any Aloe notes with this disposable. Try as I might, I couldn’t detect it. I didn’t get anything remotely floral from this disposable.
I get a fairly sweet grape flavour, not too overpowering or artificial tasting, then what tastes like some koolada to finish. And that’s about it really, I had a good old puff on this disposable but I couldn’t work out where the ‘Aloe’ part of the blend comes from!
For me, this is a grape ice flavour. As a straight up grape ice flavour, it isn’t bad, but then again it isn’t anything special either!
Cherry Ice
Vape Gold says
Cherry Ice provides a berry base with a chilled finish. You’ll experience the rich notes of dark cherry in each inhale of this vape, with ice bringing a cool exhale.
We say
It’s quite a straightforward cherry ice vape, but a pretty decent and enjoyable one!
As per the flavour description, there’s definitely a rich note of dark cherry on the inhale, and a strong, robust chilled finish to it. I do like a good icy blast when vaping an ‘Ice’ flavour, and this one didn’t disappoint on that front.
It does exactly what it says on the tin, and lives up to the flavour description that Vape Gold provide!
El Dorado
Vape Gold says
El Dorado Gold disposable vape delivers a fruity cocktail of juicy watermelon, sweet peach and the slight tang of grape
We say
The flavour balance in El Dorado is absolutely spot on. I was a little concerned that the
flavours might not work too well together, but right from the first puff those fears went away!
I’m always hesitant that watermelon flavouring might overpower other flavour notes, but this doesn’t happen with El Dorado. It blends nicely in with the peach and I can pick up the hint of grape on the exhale.
Weirdly, although the grape seems only to be a mere hint on the exhale, it is the flavour note that I can detect the most in my mouth after I have vaped this!
It’s a good combination of three flavours that keep my tastebuds on their toes, and a blend that is a little different to a lot of the disposable vapes out there.
24k Mango
Vape Gold says
24k Mango shows off the punchy flavour of this tropical fruit. The juicy taste of ripe
mango provides waves of sweet notes in every puff.
We say
Well I was expecting this one to be quite a full-on mango flavoured disposable, but my
experience was a bit different in the end!
I felt that it tasted like dried mango with some koolada to finish. The juiciness of a mango seemed to be lacking a bit with this, and there didn’t seem to be a lot of sweetness to it either.
It’s not unpleasant by any stretch, but the mango flavouring seemed to lack the authenticity, as well as the sweetness and juiciness found in other mango flavoured disposables out there.
Pineapple Ice
Vape Gold says
Pineapple Ice takes a classic tropical fruit and cools it down with an icy twist. The tangy taste of pineapple will provide sweet and juicy notes before a blast of ice is provided on exhale.
We say
In all honesty I found Pineapple Ice to be a bit bland. It could well be under-flavoured, or it could well be my tastebuds!
I do like a good Pineapple Ice disposable, and I have been spoiled with some really good ones recently, but this one seemed to be lacking in the flavour department when I compare it to others that I have tried.
I can get the sweetness and an exotic tanginess, much like I would expect from a pineapple ice vape, but the actual pineapple flavour seemed to be lacking. It’s there, but it could definitely do with being turned up a notch or two.
Even taking good long and slow draws on this couldn’t bring the pineapple to life I am afraid!
Battery Performance and Number of Puffs
Battery performance is excellent!
I’ve never known a 500mAh rated disposable battery to last eleven hours. Yes, that’s right. Eleven hours and all were tested to make sure it wasn’t a freaky fluke.
By my reckoning you’ll be getting somewhere in the region of 750 – 800 puffs from these bad boys. So maybe Vape Gold have actually sold themselves short.
The surprises don’t end there.
Flavour was as consistent throughout use as it possibly could be. I was expecting some king of sign, like a dryness to the vape as the battery failed. It never happened.
It was something of a shock when the Blue LED flashed ten times and functionality ceased.
So you can be certain of a truly exemplary battery performance from start to finish, flavour consistency as well as quite a few bonus vapes into the bargain.
.. Pure gold.
Final Review Verdict
Not all of these flavours were for me. I wasn’t entirely convinced by some of the fruit blending and a few did seem to taste very similar.
However, I think that’s an intentional act by Vape Gold themselves. Why? Because each and every flavour seemed to carry a unique trait. These are blends I haven’t come across before in a disposable vape so these guys have definitely distanced themselves from the pack.
As far as flavour consistency is concerned, The Gold Bar range is easily up there with the best. It never became wet, dry or lose any of its clarity. And eleven hours is a long time to be testing a disposable vape. I would’ve noticed in that extended period of time.
The vapour quality was also very good, perfectly replicating the smoke from a cigarette.
The MTL vape was a tad on the ‘spongy’ side because it allowed me to restrictive lung hit whenever I felt the urge but that’s just how I roll.
To conclude. If you still crave that draw from a cigarette, the Gold Bar has got you covered.
