The Freemax Onnix 2 15W Kit is an update to the very recent Onnix kit.
In fact the original Onnix kit is only just being reviewed for EcigClick as I type!
What To Expect From The Freemax Onnix 2 15W Kit…
I’m not sure about you – but I am instantly wondering why this has been updated so quickly and what the difference between the two models is?
The first main difference is the output – the original was 20W max and this version is 15W max. Also the original had different power level settings – the 2nd version seems to only have a single output.
Also the Onnix 2 is designed for MTL (Mouth to lung) vapers whereas the original was more of a RDL (Restricted Direct Lung). We tell you what these terms mean in our Guide To Vaping Styles.
As this version is for MTL vapers – this is more compatible with higher nicotine strength e-liquid. You also lose the airflow adjustment which was provided on the first version.
Inside is a smaller battery of 900mAh capacity (compared with the 1100mAh of the original). Charging is via the USB Type C port at a 1.5A rate – full charge should be around 60 minutes.
Operating this is pretty simple either inhale to use the auto draw firing system or you can press the fire button manually. 3 clicks of the fire button allows you to lock the button against accidental activation.
The LED indicators have been upgraded – a working indicator LED and 3 further lights to display the battery capacity remaining.
The pod is refillable with up to 2ml of your own e-liquid via the side fill port.
There are 4 coils available which are compatible with the original Onnix:

It appears that the original version was aimed at DTL vapers using lower nicotine strengths. This update provides an MTL version for higher nicotine and nic salt vapers.
