The Freemax Maxus Max Pro 168W Kit is an update to the recent Maxus Max kit.
The Maxus range have been steadily growing from the original Maxus 200W, Maxus 100W to the little Maxus 50W and Maxus Solo.
More Details On The Freemax Maxus Pro 168W Kit…
The kit consists of the Maxus Max Pro box mod and the Maxus DTL Pod Tank.
It will look familiar as the design is based on the Maxus Max kit with a few updates.
The main difference is the connection on the mod and pod.
On the original Maxus Max the pod sat in a bay on the top of the mod and was held in magnetically. This did mean that you couldn’t use the pod or mod with any other devices.
However the Maxus Max Pro is designed to be compatible with all devices with a 510 platform. The top of the mod has a standard 510 connector to use with any atomiser.
The pod now has a base assembly which includes the airflow adjustment and a 510 connection. So again you can use this with any box mod too.
Otherwise apart from the size this is pretty much the same as the original.
This still uses the huge MX coil platform and you get the MX1-D 0.15ohm Mesh and MX2 0.2ohm mesh coils included in the kit.
A side refill port is provided and the capacity is specified as 5ml. I have not seen any mention of a 2ml version for sale in TPD regulated areas though?
To power the mod you will need 2×18650 batteries which are not included and a USB Type C port is installed with a 2A fast charge rate.
The output is specified as 5-168W (0.7-8.4V) and you have Variable Wattage, VPC (power curves), Bypass and Temperature Control user modes to play with.
A large 1.3in colour screen is hidden behind the IML (In Mould Labelling) front panel and you will only see it when the screen is active.
There are 5 colours to choose from: Black, Gunmetal, Red, Blue and Gold.

I did think when the original was released that it was a shame it didn’t have a 510 connection. If you do own the original you can now apparently buy a 510 adaptor to use it as a standard box mod.
