ELUX are a massive, fast-growing vaping company, based out of China. They are responsible for releasing a huge range of different devices from disposables, to rechargeable disposables as well as pod systems.
They have also released many of their popular disposable flavours as e-liquids in the Legend range to use in pod systems.
Since their inception in 2018, they have picked up multiple awards for their products, and have a large global reach.
What Can We Expect From The Firerose 5000 Nicotine Salt Range?
As mentioned above, these e-liquids are the 12 most popular flavours from the ELUX Firerose disposable range.
The ‘5000’ in the name comes from the amount of puffs you could get out of a 10ml bottle, which is substantially more than what you would expect from a disposable.
Using a refillable pod system with these e-liquids will save you money in the long term and has less of an impact on the environment than a disposable pod system.
Plus, pod systems are very user friendly and many of them perform much better than a disposable, making it easy to make the switch!
This range is mixed to a 50/50 VG/PG ratio. Available in 10ml bottles and offers the choice of either 10mg or 20mg nicotine salt strength.
Using nicotine salt instead of traditional freebase nicotine means that you can enjoy a strong and quick nicotine hit. As the nicotine is absorbed faster in the bloodstream, with a smooth throat hit
As with any e-liquid, taste is subjective and in my review I will write up my own thoughts on my experiences with each e-liquid.
Your experience may differ, as people have differing palates, preferences on taste and different vaping set ups which can offer a totally different flavour experience.
Firerose 5000 nicotine salt e-liquids are designed for use in a pod system. Therefore I have been vaping these in my Vaporesso XROS Pro with a 0.4ohm pod at 25-30W, and in my Geekvape Wenax Q Mini with a 0.6ohm pod.

Yep, this one definitely delivers a ‘bang’ to my tastebuds!
The mixed berry element tastes more like Raspberries than anything else to me. I couldn’t really pick up on any other berry flavour note there. The Cranberry and Lemon cut through the sweet berry flavour on the exhale and add tart and sour notes to this e-liquid, giving it some depth too.
This one packs a hefty amount of flavour without being over-flavoured, with a pretty decent level of sweetness to it too!
Cherry Cola

I’ve been sent some decent Cherry Cola flavours recently and the ELUX Firerose 5000 version is right up there with the top ones that I have tried!
I get more of a Cherry Cola drink vibe to this one rather than a Cherry Cola sweet, that even leaves a bit of a tingle on my tongue! The taste is pretty much spot on and the aftertaste reminds me of having a good old slurp from a can of the real thing.
This one is sweet, fizzy, refreshing and authentic tasting!
Strawberry Raspberry

A tart and sweet vape, featuring an authentic replication of Strawberries and Raspberries.
There isn’t much complexity or depth to Strawberry Raspberry, but what it lacks in those areas it delivers in authenticity. I didn’t get a candied or artificial taste out of this one, but true fruity flavour.
I get the Strawberry first on the inhale, with the Raspberry mixing in shortly afterwards. The level of sweetness is absolutely spot on too and I’m left with a mouth feel not too dissimilar from what I would expect after eating the fruits themselves.
Blueberry Pomegranate

It’s a mix of two flavours that didn’t really work for me.
I instantly pick up on both flavours on the inhale, with both the Blueberry and Pomegranate seeming to be delivered instantaneously. I would have liked to have experienced a better balance here to allow each one to shine through individually.
Blueberry Pomegranate is quite a sour little number as well. They both taste authentic when compared to the fruits themselves, but this makes for quite a sharp vape that I just didn’t get on all that well with.
Bubblegum Airways

I’m not the biggest fan of Bubblegum but this was actually a fairly pleasant vape for me.
I get a fruity Bubblegum texture, that blends with a crisp and cooling mint flavour. There’s quite a nice cooling sensation at the end of this e-liquid that I quite enjoyed and I felt that it went well with the Bubblegum flavour note.
Thankfully the Bubblegum element wasn’t too over-flavoured, it is actually pretty subtle and makes for a pretty easy going flavour experience!
Blue Razz Gummy

I did think this might be a very sweet vape, but upon trying it I actually didn’t feel that way at all.
Yes, you do get sweetness from the Gummy sweet flavouring, but not an in-your-face overpowering level of sweet. I get more of the texture and mouth feel from a Gummy and this actually blends quite nicely with the Blue Raspberry flavour which adds some sour notes to this e-liquid.
All in all, I would say it is like having a nibble on some Blue Raspberry flavoured Gummies.
Tutti Fruity

An e-liquid that definitely confounded my tastebuds at the start and kept them guessing, as it’s packing plenty of different fruity flavours.
I got the taste that reminded me of a mouthful of Skittles sweets when I was vaping this one. There’s a mixed berry element and I was picking up Strawberry and Raspberry here, mixed with some Blackcurrant and citrus notes. These taste like the candied versions too, giving off the candied vibe.
Sweet and tasty, I enjoyed it!
Pineapple Peach Mango

Pineapple Peach Mango was my favourite e-liquid out of this range. I felt that the blending here was pretty much perfect.
There’s an authentic representation of Pineapple, Peach and Mango present. I pick up on the Pineapple first, followed by an undertone of Mango and then the Peach comes in to finish this off. I get sweet and sour notes from the Mango and Pineapple, with Peach delivering a juicy and mouthwatering finish.
Personally I don’t feel that it has been over-sweetened either, which I have experienced in similar blends. It feels like the flavours have just been allowed to do their own thing and shine through. Top stuff!
Cherry Sours

Well, I felt that this one wasn’t all too dissimilar from the Cherry Cola flavour present in this range.
It does lack the Cola flavour (obviously) and adds a bit more of a sour and candied edge to the vape. But I couldn’t help thinking that it wasn’t all that different from Cherry Cola. The Cherry flavouring tasted identical to the Cherry Cola version.
Given a choice between the two flavours, I would take the Cherry Cola each time!
Lemon & Lime

It’s definitely sharp and tangy, the Lemon and Lime combination delivers a taste similar to a Lemon and Lime fizzy drink, just without the fizz! The two flavours have been mixed well together, without being too sharp or artificial tasting.
I wouldn’t go as far as calling it a masterpiece, as per the description. But it is a well-blended Lemon and Lime e-liquid that certainly hits the spot.
Blue Crush

When I opened the wrapping and took the bottle out, I was greeted with a very strong smell of Blueberries!
On the inhale I get a pretty heavy hit of Blueberry flavouring, which is followed up by quite a decent amount of Koolada cutting through. I felt that this stopped the Blueberry flavour from becoming too overpowering and provided a very nice balance.
All in all I found Blue Crush to be quite a moreish vape. The balance of Blueberry and the cooling sensation is quite well done and certainly kept me coming back for more of this.
Hubbla Bubbla

The description says that this is Bubblegum mixed with a blend of secret fruits. However the Bubblegum note was very subtle and the only fruit that I could pick up on was Blackcurrant!
Strangely I couldn’t help but be reminded of Blackcurrant Jam when vaping this. I don’t actually mind that, as I find it quite pleasant and there’s also a bit of a cooling sensation as well at the end.
I didn’t feel that this was a mixed fruit Bubblegum… more cooling Blackcurrant Jam!
Final Review Verdict
I must say I have enjoyed ELUX products since first trying out their Pro 600 disposables a while back. With the Strawberry Ice Cream flavour being one of my all-time favourite disposables!
This is the first time I have tried their flavours in e-liquid rather than disposable form however and I’m glad to say that I was impressed with these.
Despite being a range of sweet, fruity flavours I didn’t find them to be too harsh on the coils in my pod systems of choice. Which can happen with some over-flavoured and over-sweetened fruit based e-liquids.
Unfortunately, I haven’t tried out the ELUX Firerose range of disposables, so I’m unable to make a comparison. But I found the e-liquid versions to be a very well-crafted range of tasty, fruity e-liquids.
The flavours taste very authentic for the most part, with no nasty artificial taste and none of them tasted over-flavoured either. It felt to me like a lot of thought and attention went into the mixing of these e-liquids, with very good results.
I was sent the range in 10mg nicotine strength and these vaped perfectly in both the Vaporesso XROS Pro and the Uwell Caliburn GK3. I got a really smooth and clean tasting vape out of these e-liquids, one that I enjoyed very much!
