Today I’ve got my sausage fingers on the new Elf Bar 600 V2 disposable vapes.
It really hasn’t taken Elf Bar very long to become major players on the disposable vape scene. Their original Elf Bar 600 has proven to be extremely popular and more often than not, these are the ones I see most casual vapers opting to use.
Elf Bar haven’t dropped the ball when it comes to public opinion either.
Disposables can be expensive – so they created the ELFLIQ 10ml E-liquid range. Designed for use with pod kits and starter kits, the disposable flavour experience could now be replicated in a more cost effective manner.
Disposables have an impact on the environment – Elf Bar created the excellent ELFA pod and ELFA Pro pod kits to help reduce such impact.
Their efforts were awarded last year with the Ecigclick award for best disposable vape with the OG Elf Bar 600.
Now they’ve released the V2 so we can expect some refinements along the way.
Let’s check those out right now.
What Can We Expect From the Elf Bar 600 V2 Disposable Vapes?
They say appearances can be deceptive and that’s definitely the case with the new Elf Bar 600 V2. It carries the same shape and design of the original but there are some significant differences inside and out.
The dulled down plastic outer shell of the OG has been ditched in favour of a metallic finish that really does pop in the light. Overall weight has been reduced and it feels much cooler to the touch.
Inside, QUAC technology replaces the standard mesh coil with an improved thinner material covering a larger surface area to increase flavour and enhance blend quality.
A new modular battery has been included that not only ups the game for flavour consistency but also designed to accelerate the recycling processes.
The Elf Bar 600 V2 is powered by a 550mAh integrated battery that should last for anything up to 600 puffs. It’s pre-filled with a TPD Friendly 2ml of E-liquid and the nicotine salt strength appears to be set at 20mg.
The OG offered 10mg as an alternative so it may only be a matter of time before the V2 does the same.
Familiar Elf Bar flavours make a return but the upgraded disposable also boasts a few new ones of its own. Expect a range of fruity, drink and sweet based profiles to delight the ‘ole taste buds.
As with all disposables, the Elf Bar 600 V2 is ready to vape straight out of the box and all you need to do is inhale from the mouthpiece to get started.
.. Just remember to remove the silicone bung and sticker on the base first. You’re going to look a bit silly otherwise! 😉

OK, let’s see if the Elf Bar 600 V2 disposables improve over the originals. How consistently do they vape and how long can we expect the battery to last? Just as importantly – is 600 puffs a realistic figure?
Apple Watermelon
Elf Bar Says:
A blend of two fruity flavours. Crisp notes of Apple are complemented by a sweet Watermelon finish.
I Say:
Now this is what you call flavour blending! It’s fantastic.
I often think it’s quite difficult to fuse these two flavours and I may well have just found the best example of how to get it right.
There’s very little to suggest anything by way of the inhale. I also notice very little in the way of sweetness being pulled in.
Yet everything develops rapidly on the exhale. Just the right amount of sweetener throughout and the mix of Watermelon to Apple is bang on!
I think the ripe Apple offsets any of the usual oily texture often found with Watermelon vapes. It doesn’t have a sharp or sour taste, either. Just plenty of succulent flavour throughout.
It’s almost as if Elf Bar have created a brand new flavour and both fruits have a balanced, subtle effect that just wants me to vape even more.
Yes, I would have included a little less in the way of cooling agent. It does linger for a longer period than the flavour on the palate but they’re just my own observations.
One of the most refreshing vapes I’ve had for quite some time and that says it all!
Banana Mango
Elf Bar Says:
Delivering a tropical fruit blend. Creamy Banana notes are sweetened by the taste of exotic Mango.
I Say:
This time there’s a whole lotta sweetness drawn up on the inhale. It can be felt on the back of the throat alongside a soothing icy chill in equal measure.
The flavour in Banana Mango is really rather intense and you’re definitely getting bang for your buck! There is an aspect of cream involved but is cancelled out on the whole by the sweeter elements of the exhale.
I have to say this is another great fusion of fruity flavour, though. Both Banana and Mango are more than happy to work alongside each other.
There’s also a level of sourness kicking out but adds another dimension to the vape. It gives it more of a cutting edge on the initial exhale.
I’m quite chuffed Mango doesn’t produce the usual ammonia aroma so often present. There’s no nasty after taste generated, only an effective blending of the two fruits.
Other than maybe too much sweetener, Banana Mango is a clear demonstration of how to mix two flavours and get the right results.
Blueberry Kiwi
Elf Bar Says:
Combining juicy Blueberry and tangy Kiwi notes for a fruity vape that’s both sweet and sharp.
I Say:
The flavour is rich in Blueberry and Kiwi – showing off the benefits of QUAC technology in my opinion. It’s as consistent at the end of the vape as the start with plenty of sourness involved throughout.
That’s probably the overriding theme with this one. Sourness. And I dig it.
I have to be honest, though. This isn’t really a flavour I could vape for long. That’s because it’s far too candy like in output. I don’t have an issue with the intensity or blending – it’s on par. I’m just not keen on the overall results.
It’s easy enough to separate the Blueberry from Kiwi but the former is too synthetic tasting for my particular taste buds and the latter provides more sharpness than I would like.
So together with the cooling aspect of the vape, Blueberry Kiwi is just too much for my sensitive taste buds to handle!
If sweetie type vapes are your thang, and not too fussed about an artificial taste it may well be to your liking.
Whether I’m keen or not, flavour is there by the vape load.
Lemon Lime
Elf Bar Says:
Providing a tangy and sweet citrus blend. The distinct flavour of sharp Lemon combines with juicy-tasting notes of Lime.
I Say:
Whoa! There’s a whole lotta Lime in the air when ripping this open from the blister pack.
Awesome! Lemon and Lime in equal measure – just as it should be.
I’m extra pleased that there’s not too much sweetness thrown into the mix. It works where it should. At the start and end of the exhale.
The Lemon tastes fresh and lively and the Lime simply pops along throughout. It’s got the ‘zing’ factor, that’s for sure.
A very tropical blend and extremely refreshing on the taste buds. Not too sharp, not to citric either.
Combined with an icy cold inhale, Lemon Lime is on par with a tasty thirst quenching fruit beverage and one that’s ideal for these hot Summer days.
Another highly consistent vape that never lets me down for quality flavour.
Mojito
Elf Bar Says:
A cocktail-inspired fusion. Juicy Lime is rounded out by notes of cool and sweet Mint.
I Say:
Again the aroma of Lime hits the nostrils once this one’s open to the air.
I have to say that this is the most intense flavour out of the bunch tested. I’m hit with a whirlpool of sweetness during the inhale that never lets up throughout the entire vape.
That’s going to please many folk but I’m a grumpy sod and it’s just a spoonful of sugar too much for me!
The intensity of the Lime can also be overwhelming to begin with but I did acclimatise to it. Another fine example of how QUAC technology is really pumping flavour though.
There’s some mint wrapped around that Lime too so no doubt contributes to flavour intensity and once again it’s noticeable for its own qualities. That impresses me.
Towards the end of the vape citrus notes can be observed and fuse with the sweetness. You probably get the vape picture by now – concentrated Lime with additional bite.
The addition of Koolada elevates Mojito to a whole new a senses stimulating experience.
Disposables can be intense tasting but this one is extreme. In a good way, of course.
Watermelon Bubblegum
Elf Bar Says:
Combines a candy flavour with a tropical twist. The sugary, soft taste of Bubblegum complements notes of juicy Watermelon.
I Say:
Yeah definitely a candy inspired vape if ever there was one.
This one works a little differently in terms of blending. It’s effective as usual but the effect differs slightly.
On the way in there’s the usual abundance of sweetness and cooling but the two flavours respond quite uniquely.
To begin with, Watermelon that tastes the strongest. Yes, it’s the usual disposable vape variety and Elf Bar haven’t offered anything new in this respect but it morphs into a Bubble gum style of vape towards the end of the exhale.
And the chewy sweet is left to settle on the flavour palate as an additional treat. With remnants of Watermelon lingering in the nasal cavities. A bit explicit, I know but that’s the overall experience.
So again – extreme flavour backed up with a bucketful of ice cubes. A highly refreshing candy style vape. I don’t often say that!
Apple Peach
Elf Bar Says:
Apple Peach is a delicious fruit combination with a light taste. The addition of soft and sweet peach complements the crispy and juicy apple flavour.
I Say:
Whoa! The aroma of Apple is strong.
It’s also very strong when it comes to the sweetness of the inhale. That sweetness instantly combines with a sourness from the common garden fruit but the flavour generated during exhale is really quite unique.
The combination of Apple and Peach is pretty effective. I don’t feel either one is more dominant.
They combine to offer up a completely new and fresh taste experience.
Both feel well balanced and flavour is consistent throughout, tinged with a bitterness that only helps with the overall bite of the vape.
However, a mixture of sweet, sour and bitterness when mixed with the inevitable cooling agent does have a tendency to wreak havoc on the ‘ole tonsils.
And maybe it’s more about those attributes than the actual fruit content on this occasion.
One thing’s for sure. Apple Peach certainly stimulates the taste buds so could very well come in handy as a ‘morning after the night before’ vape.
Blue Razz Lemonade
Elf Bar Says:
Blue Razz Lemonade enhances the tanginess of traditional lemonade with a delightful sweetness of blue raspberry.
I Say:
An overpowering and very sulphuric blend.
Blue Razz Lemonade still manages to pack a powerhouse of flavour. It seems like one of those vapes where taste is compacted down into the inhale and beginning of the exhale.
It begins with an over abundance of sweetness on the way in combined with icy cold fingers tantalizing the tonsils. Before an initial acrid taste on the way out.
But fear not!
The flavour of both Lemonade and Raspberry do eventually plough through and separate to leave a very refreshing taste on the palate.
You’ll finish the vape on stronger notes of Lemonade than anything else but the end product is still concentrated leaving a flavour clout for the taste buds to enjoy.
Not the most consistent vape in the bunch but still enjoyable all the same.
Cherry Cola
Elf Bar Says:
Indulge in the fruity twist of Cherry Cola, a vape juice that takes inspiration from the classic soda. The fizzy cola taste is perfectly balanced with a bold and sweet cherry exhale.
I Say:
I get a very strong whiff of synthetic Cherry with this one. Doesn’t bode particularly well so how’s the flavour?
It’s overloaded and to be quite honest a little bit too much for my sensitive taste buds.
And I’ve got to be brutally honest because that’s how I roll, this one taste more like soap than anything else. Soap with an extreme rough edge.
Not great.
In other words, an exaggerated flavour that mutates beyond all recognition. Whether it’s because both concentrates are just too strongly applied, whether the Koolada is creating a roughness – hard to say.
I don’t think the sweetener is over the top. I find no issue with its presence.
I just don’t appreciate the way the Cherry tastes. It’s far too chemical tasting and the Cola is clearly overshadowed, lacking the spicy, Cinnamon back notes I know and love.
Having said all that I guess if you’ve got a sweet tooth and care little for natural, smooth tasting vape, give Cherry Cola a gander.
It’s just not for me on this occasion.
Elfbull Ice
Elf Bar Says:
The Energy Drink Ice flavour is a unique, tangy blend. The sweet taste of soda makes up the body of this blend and the cool notes of the menthol compliment the fizziness.
I Say:
This is your classic energy drink in overdrive and with even more sweetener than the popular beverage itself!
It’s ram packed and were this the real thing, you’d be making frequent visits to your dentist.
The candy like properties are high on a list of priorities and really punch through. Highly concentrated on the ‘ole taste buds.
The flavour is rich and deep, delivered constantly with every exhale.
If you’re a fan of this kind of refreshment you’re going to really appreciate what Elfbull has to offer.
I didn’t personally pick out any fizziness to the vape although it still remains thirst quenching enough.
There’s a thick, syrupy texture to enjoy combined with a sourness and a few tangy, citrus like notes thrown in for good measure.
A soothing cold inhale is the icing on this particular vape cake. Give Elfbull Ice a try and you’ll be flying in no time!
Banana Ice
Elf Bar Says:
Enjoy the delicious taste of sweet and creamy banana, perfectly complemented by a refreshing icy exhale. This fruity vape offers a satisfyingly chilly finish that’s sure to please.
I Say:
Another strong and pungent aroma is noticed once the blister pack is opened. I must say the smell of the fruit is quite alluring – there’s nothing to suggest anything other than a top drawer vape.
So is it?
And I’m not proved wrong although there are one or two idiosyncrasies to the exhale.
There’s a slow build up to the sweeter elements during inhale on this occasion and accompanied with a sharp, almost cutting icy blast to the throat.
The lips are also affected with Banana Ice and I think therein lies some of the issue I have overall with this one.
Top heavy with the Koolada, ultimately distracting from what is a very decent Banana flavour. It’s not the usual soft foam sweet variety, either. Despite an absence of milky notes I’m still reminded of a Banana shake.
However that sweetness continues to grow and envelop the fruit to the point of becoming yet another distraction.
Don’t get me wrong – there’s absolutely nothing with the flavour qualities. I’ve tasted much worse from versions of the bendy yellow fruit.
It’s just a shame sweetness on top of sweetness is the effect I’m getting. The intensity of the inhale just doesn’t set things up the way I’d like.
Grape
Elf Bar Says:
If you’re looking for a fruity vape option, Grape might be a good choice. This blend offers a strong and sweet flavour of black grape that you can taste with every puff.
I Say:
Going straight into this one I have to say right off the bat I’ve never been a fan of Grape vapes.
This one does little, if anything to change my mind.
Yes, it does have flavour by the vape load but it’s a flavour I simply do not like. So no reflection on Elf Bar whatsoever.
What we have here is another over exaggerated, highly concentrated version. Extremely sweet with a strong candy like edge running throughout.
So much so that it leaves a noxious taste on the palate even after vaping.
It’s a shame Elf Bar didn’t at least bring something new to the table, opting for a simple single fruit affair. And it is a shame because the Koolada levels are on point and nicely balanced against the flavour.
For the life of me, I can never understand how this passes as Grape. Distinct and characteristic for sure but there’s no way it resemble black Grape.
Of course that’s just my opinion. Horses for courses. Grapes for vapes.
Mad Blue
Elf Bar Says:
Mad Blue offers a delightful blend of various berry flavours. Enjoy the sweetness of blueberry, the tanginess of raspberry, and the richness of blackcurrant in every puff, creating a perfectly balanced fruity vaping experience.
I Say:
Not bad at all. It’s a very candy, sweetie inspired vape and that’s evident from the very first exhale.
There’s plenty of sweetness drawn up during inhale which thankfully distributes itself evenly on the way out. Mad Blue could very easily have been another one of those sickly sweet vapes.
So, many of the flavour attributes are able to pull through, unmasked. Something I always look for in a disposable vape.
And to be perfectly fair the Raspberry and Blackcurrant do make a good partnership. The flavours seem to tumble over one another and that’s quite satisfying in my opinion.
Blueberry does make itself known but I found that to be towards the dying embers of the exhale. More of an ‘echo’ of a flavour – just enough to register on the taste buds.
More importantly it complements rather than distract from the overall flavour blending.
You’ll also be left with a tinge of ‘sugar lips’ but never to the point of total saturation. Believe me, that does happen with disposables.
Mad Blue is another of those vapes that benefits from the icy cold inhale. It sets the scene for a nice mixture of fruits and overall is a refreshing and tasty vape.
Good work!
Kiwi Passionfruit Guava
Elf Bar Says:
Experience a tropical paradise with every puff of our delightful Kiwi, Passion Fruit, and Guava blend. Savour the tangy kiwi, juicy passion fruit, and sweet guava flavours that create exquisite and fruity notes.
I Say:
One word from that flavour description. The word that instantly jumps out from the vape.
Tangy.
Oh boy is it tangy. It’s at the very heart of the flavour and as much a constant as the sweeter elements of the vape.
In fact those two contributory factors are evident on the opening inhale. So is the Koolada which adds extra roughness and bite. So this vape is alive even before discussing fruit values, of which there are more than enough to go around.
Kiwi is the guiding force with this one. Absolutely no doubt in my mind. The Guava prefers much more of a slower exhale if you want the best it has to offer. It’s inclusion is on the subtle side but not to the extent of Passionfruit.
Passionfruit feels like an after thought – not that I’ve ever really considered it to be a powerful flavour when it comes to vapes.
And sourer notes do spill through on occasion so we are assured of no dryness to the exhale.
Yes, a veritable tropical treat by all accounts and that vibe is extremely well weighted in Kiwi Passionfruit Guava.
Get some! On a hot sunny afternoon. It’ll certainly quench that thirst.
Cola
Elf Bar Says:
Recreates the familiar flavour of American soda. From inhale to exhale you’ll experience the authentic flavour of sugary, fizzy cola.
I Say:
Cola is a tad on the strong side, if I’m honest.
You’ll definitely get the refreshing taste of classic Cola but it comes with a little bit of baggage.
An attempt has been made to create the fizz associated with this popular beverage but it translates as something rather different.
I found it to cause something of a stinging effect on the surface of the lips, amplified by the included cooling agent.
Add to this an inherent dryness that no amount of sweetness can mask and you’re not really getting an entirely accurate representation of this all year round favourite.
Yes, it’s tasty enough and packs a consistent flavour clout each and every vape but there’s no escaping the artificial nature of this vape.
Strawberry Ice
Elf Bar Says:
Takes the familiar flavour of ripe, juicy strawberry and adds a chilly ice exhale for a fruity vape with a cool kick.
I Say:
Mmm. Smells quite promising, at least!
However this is not a ripe, juicy version of Strawberry. Not that I expected miracles from a disposable vape.
It’s the usual candy style take on the popular Summer fruit – not necessarily a bad thing and certain accessible to the mainstream audience it’s targeting.
There is a sweetness to the exhale but clearly not in the league associated with a natural tasting Berry. Instead it lingers on the periphery, detached from the single flavour on offer, never adding anything to lift the taste.
Again, there does seem to be a drier quality to the vape. I don’t expect that from such a mouth watering, juicy fruit. As a consequence I’m distanced further from the end product.
Strawberry Ice remains more than passable, however and it will have its fan base. Well suited to those happy just to be tasting something other than Tobacco.
And you will get a Strawberry taste each and every vape. Flavour consistency is excellent.
Pink Grapefruit
Elf Bar Says:
A tangy citrus vape. The flavour of pink grapefruit is present throughout, playing between sweet and sharp for a balanced vape.
I Say:
Oh yes! This was has plenty going for it – not least the natural, refreshing taste that’s noticeable from the very first exhale.
The Grapefruit in this one is absolutely lush and the lynchpin of the entire flavour experience.
It has just the right level of sweetness, a tangy back note that hangs throughout and a mouth watering quality that’s off the vaping scale!
As far as tropical fruits are concerned, I have to put it up there as one of the best Grapefruits I’ve tasted in disposable format.
It averts so much of my focus that I tend to overlook the citric qualities tied into the mix. They’re good but the cooling aspect of the inhale gets caught up inside, ultimately causing a slight stinging sensation on the throat.
The one side of the vape that distracts me. Yet not enough to spoil the taste experience.
We even get the musky, woody notes commonly associated with a fresh Grapefruit.
Pucker! This one’s a true winner. I could easily vape this all year round.
P&B Cloudd
Elf Bar Says:
The flavour of light, sugary candy floss and adds an icy exhale for a blend that balances sweet and cool notes.
I Say:
Not really sure what to make from the name of this one. Thank heavens for flavour descriptions, eh?
Even then, what I get differs wildly from what we’re given above. There’s Blueberry in that there vape for sure! I know the taste anywhere.
To state sugary would also be an understatement. It has to be the most sweet laden vape out of all those sampled in the range. I’m not a fan – it’s simply overkill.
There’s a better way of translating candy floss into vape form but this disposable version takes the idea to extreme.
Behind the taste of Blueberry there’s a slight antiseptic quality to the exhale. It’s most noticeable towards the end and leaves a slight mark on the palate.
The most redeeming aspect of the vape experience actually comes from the cooling properties. They work quite nicely but the combination of events that tumble from the exhale are not really scintillating these particular taste buds.
Far too sweet to tolerate and the odd flavour blend just doesn’t float my boat this time.
Watermelon
Elf Bar Says:
Delivering the simple flavour of tropical watermelon. Sweet and juicy notes are present from the first puff to the last for an exotic fruit vape.
I Say:
Creates an incredibly strong aroma when ripped from the sealing baggie.
It’s another single fruit profile so there shouldn’t be too many surprises.
Yet I’m pleasantly surprised by the end product – enough to turn the corners of my mouth up. Watermelon delivers a powerhouse of a flavour kick. Nicey!
You know it’s going to be quite mouth watering with the build up of Ice and sweetness on the inhale.
Yes, that cooling effect does create a razor sharp taste and really does elevate the tasty Watermelon to another level. But that’s what it’s all about. How things should be, especially from a disposable.
A truly concentrated flavour with a fresh, succulent Watermelon spilling from the exhale.
It’s not particularly oily tasting either, another plus in my book.
Ice, sweetness and Watermelon with a tangy twist in the tail.
I’m on this one like a rash. Great job!
Strawberry Raspberry Cherry Ice
Elf Bar Says:
A bold frozen berry vape. Juicy strawberry, zingy raspberry and rich cherry are cooled down by an arctic ice exhale.
I Say:
Three flavours blended into one disposable vape could be asking too much of this humble high resistance mesh coil. How well does it respond?
Not very well, unfortunately. Forget any chance of Strawberry here – it just doesn’t exist.
There is a ‘zing’ to the resulting flavour but it’s also drier than I was expecting. In fact the overall taste experience is really rather dull and pretty much non descript if I’m totally honest.
The Cherry is the fruit least likely to struggle but struggle is indeed the best word to describe the vape experience in general, unfortunately.
The sweetness is reserved to the dying embers of exhale and leaves its mark on the lips but there’s nothing much to associate it with.
Trace notes of Raspberry do occur throughout but again far too distant to be enjoyed.
So the cooling nature of the inhale is very much isolated against a back drop of subtle, faint flavour tones.
In all fairness, Strawberry Raspberry Cherry Ice bears all the hallmarks of a dud disposable. It does happen from time to time. Truth is, Elf Bar are much, much better with fruity flavours than this so there’s every chance.
As things stand, there’s still enough to base a score line on.
How Many Puffs Do I get From The Elf Bar 600 V2?
Probably the only area where I feel a bit let down if I’m honest.
On average, the battery held out for 7 hours. All of the flavours tested were MTL (Mouth To Lung) vaped. On the subject of MTL vaping, they work a treat. It’s a comfortable experience. Not too tight and not too loose.
If, like myself, you’re more of a RDL (Restrictive Direct Lung) vaper, the option is there too.
In this respect, Elf Bar are giving you the best of both vape worlds.
But I don’t think 600 puffs is a realistic figure. I’d put it nearer to 500 based on my own experiences.
If you’re a casual vaper the Elf Bar 600 V2 is still likely to last a full day but not much longer.
Elf Bar 600 V2 Final Review verdict
I’m now a firm believer in QUAC technology. How could I not be? It’s quite rare for a disposable to separate flavours like this. Each Elf Bar 600 V2 tested displayed such characteristics.
Yet they blended perfectly too and flavour consistency was superb throughout. The intensity remains right up to the very last vape so the increased area of the mesh is really making a difference.
The battery fails before flavour does and there’s never any indication of when it’s about to stop working.
So I’m convinced the upgraded mesh coil is delivering a constant output for the lifetime of the disposable.
If you’re transitioning across from cigs, the vapour production will feel familiar. You get the same output as a tailor made smoke. Enough to fill the throat but not the room.
To conclude, Elf Bar have just introduced us to a whole new experience when it comes to flavour intensity. That’s just the kind of experience a new vaper will be looking for.
More vapers, less smokers. I’d say Elf Bar are making a major contribution to those statistics.
