The Eleaf iSolo-R Kit is the simple version of the recent iSolo Air kit.
The device has been simplified and has a bigger battery capacity – yet a lower maximum output.
More Details On The Eleaf iSolo-R Kit
Firstly we will look at the actual mod – inside the mod is a 1800mAh battery – which is larger capacity than the iSolo Air at only 1500mAh.
A type C USB port is provided which is used to fully recharge the battery in around 50 minutes at a 2A charge rate.
The output is stated at 30W max – I am not sure if you can adjust the output or if the device will recognise the coil you have installed and adjust itself?
An LED is provided to notify of the battery capacity remaining by changing colour – there is no screen on this version.
The airflow inlets are located on the mod and by rotating the pod you can open and close the inlets to obtain the airflow that suits you best.
Included in the kit is the GTL pod – depending on which kit you buy you will get the 4.5ml pod or the 2ml pod.
There is a slight difference as the 4.5ml pod comes with the 0.8ohm and 0.4ohm coils and a larger drip tip for DTL / RDTL vapers. If you have the 2ml pod this comes with the 1.2ohm and 0.8ohm coils and a thinner drip tip for MTL vapers. We tell you what MTL and DTL mean in our Guide to Vape Styles.
You can use either pod on the mod they are interchangeable.
All the coils are compatible with either pod and you will find the GTL coils are also compatible with the iStick T80 kit, iSolo Air, Pico Compaq and Glass Pen.
A fill port is provided on the base of the pod.
There are 4 colours to choose from: Red, Blue, Dark Brown and Light Brown.
