The Eleaf iKuun i200 is the latest mod with integrated battery from one of the best-known vaping brands in the world.
Eleaf have brought us A LOT of product over the years including the mega successful iStick series which included the likes of the iStick 20W, iStick 30W, iStick 50W, when temperature control started to take off Eleaf responded actively and developed iStick TC40, iStick TC60W, and iStick TC100.
Eleaf Ikuun i200
As of late Eleaf have given us products like the and iStick Pico 25, and iKonn 220 which I reviewed not long ago.
So back to it! Today we are going to take a look at one of Eleaf’s newest products the iKuun i200 an interesting little chap that goes up to 200w of power and has a 4600mAh internal battery. Is it one of the better vape mods for uk vapers?

Design and Build Quality
The iKuun i200 is has very similar looks and feel to the Eleaf iKonn 220.
As always with Eleaf the design and attention to build quality are excellent. Constructed from plastic and a zinc aluminium the feel of this device in the hand is one of comfort, it’s also a surprisingly light weight mod considering it has an internal battery of 4600mAh.
The Eleaf iKuun i200 will hold tanks up to 25mm without overlap, Eleaf have added a temperature protection for charging this Mod as well as updating the brightness of the OLED screen compared to the iKonn.
A quick guide to 1st use out of the box
Make sure that you fully charge the iKuun i200 before you use it for the 1st time! As daft as this sounds my mod came with ½ or less power. First charge will help prolong the life of the battery!
Use the included QC USB cable, charging can be done with a computer via USB or with a suitable USB charger plug.
How does The iKuun i200 Perform?
I have used the iKuun i200 with multiple tanks and RDA/RDTA’s and different wires, for this review I have used the OBS Engine Nano RTA, and 24g Kanathal at 0.4ohms with one of my own homemade e-liquids I call “black mint toots”.
25W – Airflow almost closed for Mouth to Lung draw, while the vapour was slightly disappointing the flavour was out of this world! I spent a full 24 hours using the ikuun i200 as a mouth to lung vape mod at 25w by the end of the 24hrs I still had 15% battery power left.
60W – Using the mod for a full 24 hour period I found I had to recharge it three times within the 24hrs! The flavour and vapour I experienced with using the OBS Nano was what I expected thick and very flavoursome.
TC – because of the higher wattage testing I switched the OBS Nano out for one of my Recoil RDA’s 0.3 SS Clapton’s 80w 450F and 100w 420F.
Again I can report that the flavour and vapour was very good at both these temperatures and wattages, I managed nearly 6 hours of TC vaping before a recharge was needed. Dry cotton test for TC with SS316 left a slight but faint banding on the cotton which to me is quite acceptable.
Updating/Logo/Reset
You are able to update the Firmware and download a Logo file direct from the Eleaf website. In case things go wrong with the update or your iKuun freezes up on you (it sometimes happens with every e-cigarette) there is a small reset pin hole in the centre of the adjustment buttons, hold this down with a pin and the iKuun will reset itself back to the factory default.

What I Like
Every box was ticked with the iKuun i200, this mod is light weight, cost is cheap, and it works well in either Power or TC modes. The battery life is good, much better than some other mods with the same size internal battery, the unit comes in 6 colour variations.
What I Didn’t Like
The name of this unit is confusing as some retailers list the unit as the “iKuun” and others including Eleaf list it as “iKuu” I can only think the difference being is if you buy the kit form that has the Melo 4 Tank included it will be called “iKuu”. The only thing I would like changed on this unit is the 510 connection if it had been centred you would have been able to get Attys larger than 25mm on the unit
Final Review Verdict
What can I say… For a cheap 200w box mod this iKuun i200 ticks just about every box, it passed every test I could think off without me damaging the unit, a very easy to use mod.
In my mind it would be great kept in the car as a travel mod, with the price of this mod I would happily recommend this to those vapers wanting to take a step up and or a foray into Temp Control.
Would I buy the Eleaf iKuun i200 mod again if I should loose or have it stolen?? Yes I would.
Pros
- Does everything it says on the tin
- Works well in both VW and TC
- Very simple to operate
- Retail cost is cheap
- Ideal travel mod
Cons
- No real Cons from me
- Moving the 510 would have allowed for Atty’s bigger than 25mm
I want to know why i cant change the ohms from 0.00 to 1.77 like my old one this is driving me nuts
Build quality on these is shocking. USB connection will last about a month if you’re lucky, total waste of money.
These things are crap.. I bought two of them and nothing but problems.. I had one for a month.. unbalanced battery and can’t charge.. I bought a hunk of plastic.. the store says tuff luck.. can’t change battery. What a waste of money..
Hi I’m sorry you have had such a bad experience with the iKuun i200, in the time I’ve had my mod I have had no problems with it at all! I use mine as a travel mod, I’m not sure if you are in the UK but the store you bought yours from have an obligation to replace or refund before 30 days if you are in the uk trading standards is a good threat even if you dont follow through in contacting them, as I said I’m sorry for your experience.
