The Dovpo Peaks Pod Kit is as you guessed another new Pod Mod device to the market!
Already I am reminded of the Vaporesso Aurora Play… Just sayin’!
Anyway the Peaks is a funky little flip top style pod kit – which should be nice and pocket friendly!
The device part contains a 650mAh internal battery which is recharged via the USB Type C port on the base.
There are two power modes to choose from – Flavour mode and Cloud mode – but I am not sure what power is actually output in these modes. The specs state the device will output between 8 and 15W.
You have an LED indicator light which informs you of the battery level and power mode selected. You select power mode using the mode button on the side of the device.
The e-liquid lives in the “Pod” which is basically a removable tank. It will hold 2ml of your own e-liquid and is refillable via a screw cap on the top of the pod.
Thankfully the pod has removable coils so you do not have to discard the whole pod when the coil life has expired.
You get 2 coils in the kit:
- 0.8ohm Mesh coil – I would imagine this is more for higher VG e-liquid and lower nicotine strengths.
- 1.4ohm ceramic coil – this is better with high nicotine e-liquid or nicotine salts.
