The DotMod brand has a lot of loyal followers who I am sure will be excited to see their new release – the DotMod DotRDA X!
They are well known for producing quality devices such as the dotAIO SE, DotPod Nano and Dotbox 200W Mod.
More Details On The DotMod DotRDA X…
This is designed as an RDA (Rebuildable Dripping Atomiser), where you drip e-liquid manually into the top of the atomiser.
However if you would like the convenience of squonking, the kit also includes a hollow 510 (Bottom Feed – BF) connector pin for use with a squonk mod. Although not specified on the DotMod website, one of the retailers say this has a 4ml e-liquid well – so should not need filling / dripping too often!
One of the main features of this RDA is the versatility.
You can use this with a single coil or dual coil build and the deck is postless for easier installation.
Also this promises to cater to those who prefer restricted airflow (MTL / RDL) or a more open airflow (DTL) with some interchangeable components which are included in the kit. We tell you what MTL, RDL and DTL mean in our Guide To Vape Styles.
If you prefer a more restricted airflow you can choose the slimmer drip tip (mouthpiece) along with the 510 top cap.
If you would like bigger clouds you can select the wider drip tip (810) and matching top cap.
Sadly the DotMod website is not the most informative so I am not sure if the airflow is adjustable other than changing the top caps and drip tips? There is a mention of an “airflow insert” in the contents – which would possibly suggest there is a replaceable insert on the deck to further configure the incoming air?
