Dinner Lady Vape Juice Review – 10 Flavours Tested

So, where do you start with Dinner Lady vape juice?

They are without doubt one of the most recognisable household names in the E-Juice industry and available in UK stores including retail giant Asda.

Their E-Liquid also sells in 96 countries worldwide, now how many other juice companies can say that?

Not many hardcore vapers out there will not have at least tried Dinner Lady’s Lemon Tart.

Personally, I was hooked on it for a straight 6 months back in the day when I starting Direct To Lung (DTL) vaping.

What Can We Expect From Vape Dinner Lady?

Big, Huge things if I’m honest. Dinner Lady are top of their game with multiple awards for their juice.

Being absolutely hooked on their Lemon Tart back on the day, I’m very excited to try out these flavours………… expectations are sky high.

Dinner Lady e liquids are available in pretty much every combo you could want. Nic Salt, 50pg/50vg, High VG (70VG) in both 10ml and short-fill.

For the mouth to lung (50/50 and Nic Salts) we shall be using the Vandy Vape Berserker MTL RDA on top of the GeekVape Aegis mini.

Coiled with Kanthal wire A1 26ga at 1.2ohms resistance and vaping at 15 watts.

It’s a little nostalgic for me to see Dinner Lady still using the dripper bottles.

For the high VG (70/30), which are aimed at the Direct to Lung (DTL), sub ohm vaper, I will be using the Wotofo Recurve RDA with an Interlock Clapton Coil with a resistance of 0.2 ohms.

I will also be using the EHPro Cold Steel running around 75 watts.

These bottles of e-juice have been supplied free of charge for the purposes of the review and I will give my honest opinion. Are they a best vape juice candidate?

Dinner Lady Heisen Lady

Dinner Lady Says:

Luscious Mixed berries with a sprinkle of Dinner Lady love, all entwined with a blast of ice to give you a fruity chill

I Say:

The smell from the bottle is full of berries, very pleasant with a hint of a menthol after-touch.

With the inhale of this, you get a bit of the mixed berry flavour which multiplies on the exhale followed by that menthol chill.

The menthol is subtle and not overpowering at all.

If you are a fan of Heisenberg, this will hit your spot, it’s not as strong as some of the Heisenbergs out there but still very enjoyable and the cool hit is not overpowering like some can be.

I’m getting a perfect throat hit from this one as well.

Dinner Lady Melon Twist

Dinner Lady Says:

Seriously twisted melon with kiwi, let your taste buds devour it’s tangled delicious glory

I Say:

From the bottle I am getting a strong smell of a cantaloupe melon.

The inhale brings just a tad of kiwi and as soon as you start to exhale it’s all about the melon, the kiwi really does get lost in this melon taste.

Now I’m not the greatest fan of melon in general, actually, that’s probably an understatement, my face screws up anytime I see the wife eat it.

This however, I can see me vaping this, not full time but as a refreshing change from the norm.

Still not going to eat it though.

Dinner Lady Blackberry Crumble

Dinner Lady Says:

Warm British blackberries topped with a crispy, buttery crumble.

I Say:

The crumble smell from the bottle is simply amazing, you just get the sense of that smell when a fresh crumble comes out of the oven.

On the inhale you get the buttery crumble from the offset, exhaling makes it stronger with that mixed flavour of cooked blackberries.

Somehow it is not overpoweringly sweet, for me the level is just right.

Nice little kick at the back of the throat with this one.

Dinner Lady Berry Tart

Dinner Lady Says:

Crumbly crust, light creamy filling with a vibrant, sweet and tangy topping of fresh raspberries and blueberries. An absolute berry – dazzler of a tart!

I Say:

The berries are bursting out of the bottle and into my nasal cavities mixed with the pastry.

The finger test is an intense tangy berry flavour, it’s absolutely delicious.

Straight from the get go with the inhale you’re getting the berries, exhaling brings the berries with that tart crust. I found myself coming up with excuses to just try it one more time to be sure.

This is the type of flavour that Dinner Lady really do excel at, they have absolutely nailed pastry flavours.

Dinner Lady Cola Shades

Dinner Lady Says:

Deliciously authentic cola with a twist of lemon served on the rocks. Guaranteed to quench your vaping thirst

I Say:

After taking a sniff from the bottle, I imagine sticking my head into a bag full of cola bottle sweets, it’s not the smell of cola you would get from a tin of the top two brands but that sweetie cola.

The finger test brought the same, imagine getting a handful of cola bottle sweets or cola cubes and shoving them in your mouth, then put a couple of drips of lemon juice as well.

That, is the finger test flavours.

The inhale brings a hint of cola, your throat will get that coolada hit, especially on your first vape.

The exhale is a sweet cola, just like the finger test.

I hate to say it, but it also comes with a twist of lemon.

Ummm Dinner Lady’s description on this is pretty bang on, not a lot more you can add to it.

Lemon Tart

They say:

Sharp lemon curd topped with gooey meringue, all cradled by a thin pastry crust.

We say:

Lemon Tart is arguably the most well known e liquid from the Dinner Lady range, and one of the most talked about across social media.

Lemon Tart is a very sweet take on a lemon drizzle cake, with sharp lemon curd mixed with a very thick meringue and cake background.

The taste is uncanny, and it is one of the most realistic tasting e juices I have tried.

Like Maple Waffle, I did find this to be somewhat of a coil killer unfortunately, which could be down to how sweet this juice is.

The quality is top notch and my bottle of Lemon Tart was vaped in no time at all.

I did find myself re ordering it as soon as I had finished the bottle off!

Cornflake Tart

They say:

A true taste of the old school! Cornflake and syrup tart with a punchy layer of strawberry jam running through. The only thing missing is the crunch.

We say:

Cornflake Tart is an old classic dessert that my Grandmother used to whip up for me when I was a child, and Dinner Lady’s version definitely brought back memories of that after dinner treat.

I get a fairly dry cornflake flavour that has a very syrupy undertone to it, a flaky pastry background representing the tart and a small hint of strawberry jam when exhaling.

It is a really well rounded e liquid and one I personally enjoyed a lot!

Maple Waffle

We say:

Maple Waffle has a very thick waffle overtone to it, that is the most predominant flavour found in this liquid.

It is very doughy too, I almost got a doughnut liquid styled feel to it, and there is a pretty generous amount of rich maple syrup added for good measure.

There is a very nice creamy aftertaste to this liquid, it is also very sweet as well, which wasn’t the most pleasing on my coil builds!

I did find that this gunked up my coils quite quickly, so do bear that in mind.

Strawberry Custard

They say:

Natural strawberry is balanced against sweet, creamy custard and butter-caramel.

A refreshingly different strawberry vape that will leave Mothers Milk gathering dust on your shelf.

We say:

Strawberry Custard is one of the smoothest liquids I have tried, and one that I absolutely would have as an all day vape!

It has become my favourite Strawberry Custard liquid, thanks to the combination of syrupy and sweet strawberry with a thick custard undertone, and an aftertaste of caramel.

The flavours are blended together perfectly, providing you with a really delicious dessert liquid.

Rice Pudding with Jam

They say:

Cooked to perfection. Velvety, sweet, creamy rice pudding, with a tasty dollop of raspberry jam stirred through to finish. What’s not to love?

We say:

Rice Pudding with Jam really gets the flavour and texture of rice pudding spot on, even down to the thickness of the mouth feel.

It’s a really thick and creamy liquid that contrasts very well with the raspberry jam undertone.

Strangely this was the only Vape Dinner Lady e-liquid (I tried) that had any sort of throat hit in my experience.

I did get a fairly sharp throat hit on the inhale which does deviate from the flavour profile.

While still a good juice it didn’t impress as much as the others.

Final Review Verdict

It’s clear to me that Vape Dinner Lady are still at the top of their game.

Their mixologists have really hit these flavour profiles bang on the money and I am very excited to see what they come up with next.

I am curious how many crumbles and tarts are ate while comparing?

Their pastry/tart flavours bring me right back to the Sunday dinners of old with the hot crumble dessert.

Is it any wonder that they find themselves continuously being nominated for awards including our very own Ecigclick awards which is one of the biggest that is actually voted by vapers.

Without doubt my favourite from this review was the Berry Tart, full marks for this one.

The only problem with it is the bottle is now empty, come on snail mail!!!!!!
