A Rip Trippers Project! Rip is one of YouTube’s most famous US reviewers who collaborated with Digiflavor to bring us the Pharaoh Dripper Tank.
About Digiflavor!
Digiflavor, while a fairly new company the people behind it are a group of dedicated and experienced vapers! They have had other successes with tanks such as the Fuji GTA and the Lynx RDA! and the latest Digiflavor Pharaoh RTA (review here).
The company is based in Shenzhen, China, and a sister company of one of the most famous names in vape manufacture “GeekVape”. Who bought us the ever popular Griffin RDTA and Tsunami RDA!
The main focus of Digiflavor is on taste rather than vapor, being that they are all flavour chasers!
Today I’m going to take an in-depth look at the Digiflavor Pharaoh Dripper. Is it worth all the hype it’s been receiving over the last few months? Let’s find out.
The Pharaoh Dripper Tank by Digiflavor
A unique atomizer that features a spring loaded clamp style build deck that supports a variety of different coils. This paired with the precise click airflow control system, and coupled with the name Rip Trippers makes it a very attractive must have for any vaper.

Design and Build Quality
The Digiflavor Pharaoh Dripper Tank is constructed from Stainless Steel; I have to say that over all the build quality is good and sturdy with a bit of weight behind it!
The overall design of the RDA is good if not slightly plain looking.
The Cap/Sleeve
The Pharaoh Drip Tank cap/sleeve comes in one piece which is screwed to the build deck by threads, which are smooth with no sharp edging.
On the inside of the cap/sleeve is a channel for condensation and liquid splash back, which allows any liquid pooling here to drip back down to your cotton and coil/s.
You have the choice of two wide bore Delrin drip tips. One is designed as anti spit back and with the 510 drip tip adaptor you could use a drip tip of your choice.
The Deck
On the bottom of the deck you have a gold plated connection pin along with a unique serial number for your Pharaoh Dripper Tank.
On the side of the deck the word PARAOH has been laser etched.
Inside the deck you have two spring loaded clamp style posts for your wire, an adjustable juice flow control lever this also serves to hold your cotton.
You will also see that the bottom airflow is handled with a click lock system. Triple bottom air flow holes which are rectangular in shape; you are easily able to restrict the flow of air making for a tighter draw.
While the internal triple slots feeding your coils are set between the posts.
When you draw in, the air goes in these bottom airflow holes and up under your coils.
The build deck is fairly roomy and has a 3ml liquid tank.
How Does The Digiflavor Lynx Perform?
I found the vapour I experienced from the Pharaoh to be thick and plentiful which is no surprise considering Rip is a cloud chucker!
I found the Pharaoh to be lacking somewhat in flavour with smaller builds, and my preferred milder liquids.
In the end I filled the 3ml tank with Doozy Vape Co, Golden Elixir (Tobacco and Caramel liquid)
Installed a single SS316 Fused Clapton (24g+24gx32g) coiled on a 4mm bit = 0.2ohms I tested the Pharaoh using the Koopor Primus. It sat flush and apart from a few leaks of my own making!
The Pharaoh performed well on both Temp Control and Power Mode.
Building the Pharaoh Drip Tank
Loading wire for any build is not an easy task on the Pharaoh.
Your wire leads must face opposite sides to each other (rather like the old Kayfun) it’s not a simple matter of slipping the leads in place.
I found it easier to measure one lead placing the longer lead in while holding the coil to screw it down. The lower the coil is to the airflow the better for me.
Dual builds are possible but for a better flavour but I would recommend a larger single coil build.
Filling
The top cap/sleeve unscrews from the deck making filling the 3ml tank somewhat easy.
The adjustable juice flow control is handled by a slide switch at the base of one of the clamp posts, this also helps in holding your cotton in place.
Several times I’ve forgotten to close this juice flow control with the result in leakage through the air holes.
Airflow
The airflow is not the swishiest I have used wide open but with 2 of the 3 air holes closed it is possible to get a decent mouth to lung draw with plenty of vapour.
O ring
The heat resistant O ring situated below the deck threads, does a great job in stopping leakage between the cap/sleeve and the deck.
What I Like
The two post spring loaded clamps.
The 3ml liquid tank also means you can spend more time vaping without constantly filling.
The click lock airflow makes the Pharaoh Dripper Tank very attractive to me I don’t have to worrying about the airflow moving out of place.
The threads, they are very smooth, and operate flawlessly. As a bonus there are no sharp edges to them.
What I Didn’t Like
The lack of flavour with smaller builds and milder liquids was a dislike. Also patience is needed to build the Pharaoh.
A minor thing, but I was also having to remember to close off the adjustable Juice Flow Control.

Final Review Verdict
While I have loved all previous Digiflavor tanks and RDA’s I can’t say I am a huge fan of the Pharaoh Dripper Tank!
The looks are good the weight is fabulous; the amount of vapour that can be produced is extraordinary and the juice capacity excellent. But at best I would consider the Pharaoh to be average for flavour.
Would I buy the Digiflavor Pharaoh Dripper Tank again should I lose the one I own? No I don’t think I would.
Pros
- 3ml Liquid fill capacity
- Click Lock Airflow
- Smooth Threading
- Capable of huge clouds
Cons
- Adjustable Juice Flow Control
- The lack of flavour with smaller builds
As always Kevin very god review, not sure this RDA/RDTA is my cup of tea
Thanks for your comment Mark, its a subjective tank that’s not everyones cup of tea cheers.
