Introduction – Tiny Kit by Demon Killer
The Demon Killer Tiny kit is a first in terms of hardware from a company that is better known for it’s vaping accessories.
They have certainly gone for something that little bit different. The Tiny is the smallest kit I have ever seen in my many years of vaping, maybe not the most surprising news hence the name, but the Tiny Kit by Demon Killer really is tiny.

Design and Build Quality
The Demon Killer mod
Available in Resin or Zinc alloy in 3 colours and mixed hues, measuring in at 55mm vertically horizontally 38mm and a tank diameter of just 14mm.
if you have a Zippo handy it is roughly the same size and width.
incorporating a small screen that displays “Tiny” when fired, a stainless steel 510 connection with a spring loaded gold plated connection pin. The housing for the 510 and the screen is made of stainless steel.
The body of the mod one side has the Demon Killer logo and the other has a flush round shiny fire button made of stainless steel, the mod includes an 800mAh internal battery.
On the bottom of the device it has a micro USB port as well as a small charge light and the words Demon Killer and the normal CE marks are printed here, the device can be used while charging (pass through).
I’ve got to say, the mod looks to be a little tacky to me in its design and appearance, although the idea is simple and the quality I’d class as fair.
The Tiny RDA (2 parts)
Despite the name the size still surprised me. This is the smallest RDA I’ve ever seen.It has a diameter of 14mm and a height of 21mm excluding the 510 thread. The cap or mouthpiece is made of Polyetherimide (PEI) which is high performance engineering thermoplastic. PEI’s characteristics include high strength and rigidity at elevated temperatures.
Around the base of the RDA are 2 heat resistant O rings to hold the cap in place, the base itself is made from stainless steel.
Tiny laser etched branding features on the bottom alongside a gold plated 510 pin.
The stainless steel posts are in a half moon shape which also houses the airflow, the positive post sits on a peek insulator while the negative post is part of the base, the post screws are extremely tiny Phillips head screws, I bet you can see a common theme here!
All threads are good and function how they should. The design of this RDA may be small and simple however the quality is very good.
A basic guide to coiling / wicking the Tiny RDA
*Experience making your own coils is an advantage; however Demon Killer includes 10 premade coils within the packaging a little practice is all that is needed to install them.
Take off your PEI cap by gently rocking it back and forth
This RDA only takes one coil so either make your own or install one of the pre made coils that comes with the kit.
If you want to use the Tiny RDA on a Squonk Mod, a Squonk Pin is included just unscrew the 510 pin on the RDA and replace with the Squonk pin.
How Does the Demon Killer Tiny Kit Perform?
I chucked in one of the coils that came with the kit which I believe are 28g Kanthal 8 wrap and slightly spaced about 0.6 ohms each.
For this example I used an e-liquid from Juice Junkies called “Morning Glory”
While I can’t tell you exactly what wattage this mod fires at (it’s not listed anywhere in the documentation) I can take an educated guess and say it feels like 18/20w at full power, the unit is a single power vape drawing what power is available from the battery rather like the early ego pen vape’s, in other words you cannot vary the wattage.
Battery Indicator
On the top screen the “Tiny” branding changes colour:
- From white fully charged
- Blue half charge
- Red low charge
- When the red “Tiny” flashes you need to charge the battery.
The Fire button
For me it was kind of sticky on occassion. It will function fine but at other times it will stick resulting in the unit constantly firing, when this happened I had to flick the button to release it.
Likewise in turning the vape mod on and off which is supposed to be 5 clicks for each, I encountered problems – I believe that because the button is flush with the body of the mod and I have large fingers the combination is not good, after a while I gave up trying to turn the mod on and off leaving it on all the time lol.
The vape
I was getting a cool vape with a fair amount of vapour and good flavour; the lowest resistance you can fire with this mod is 0.5ohms.
The airflow
The airflow isn’t what I would call stellar.
Starting with it wide open it gives a restrictive Straight to Lung hit, but is too airy for a mouth to lung style of vape. In fact, turning the airflow down and then completely off made no discernible difference to the vapour produced, I was still able to vape as though it was wide open closed off, also I quite often found that my lips would cover the airflow!
*Tip to get a slightly warmer vape with this RDA and Mod, unwrap one of the coil wraps, but be mindful the battery life will suffer as the battery is only 800mAh.
Battery life
I managed to get a couple of hour’s constant vaping from the Demon Killer Tiny mod following a full charge. Charging by USB takes approx 1 hour at 1amp, the mod has no provision for 2amp charging.
The O rings functioned perfectly in the time I have been using this RDA, with no leaks.
After I completed this review I tried to take the mod apart.
- To see what type of battery they have in it.
- To see if I could fix the fire button!
I believe when manufactured they glued the casing to the metal housing and without destroying the device I couldn’t get it apart.
What I Like
The novelty of having such a small RDA that is not difficult to build on, I like that Demon Killer give the exact size of the post screws in the user manual. The mod is very simple to use, just click and vape. Another plus is the 10 coils included as well as a Squonk Pin.
What I Didn’t Like
The coil material of the included coils is not listed. The exact wattage of the device is not listed.
The fire button, for me, sticks when firing and got worse as I continued to use the device!
Turning the Demon Killer Tiny mod on and off with large fingers is not ideal. The USB charge point is on the bottom of the mod which is a con for me. The LED lights bleed through the resin casing, which is distracting and the airflow, I found, doesn’t function properly.
Final Review Verdict
The Demon Killer Tiny kit could make an acceptable upgrade for those wishing to make the leap into coiling their own RDA but I personally feel frustration with the fire button would result in the search for a better alternative.
Would I buy the Deomn Killer Tiny Kit if lost or damaged? No… personally speaking it’s too small for my great big meat hooks and the vape is too cool.
