Vaporesso’s first e-liquid offering is in for review – the Deliciu E-liquid range – and it is due to hit our shores shortly!
Vaporesso are a household name in the vaping industry and well regarded for producing top quality products. They have become very well known for well performing products such as the Luxe X Pro, Armour MAX Box Kit, Gen 80S iTank 2, Eco Nano Pod Kit and most recently the absolutely superb Vaporesso XROS Pro.
Vaporesso’s commitment to excellence has been recognised within the industry, with them picking up a record setting 130+ awards!
What Can We Expect From The Vaporesso Deliciu Range?
These were created by the research and development team behind the Vaporesso XROS series. The Deliciu range of e-liquids are specifically designed to replicate the strong flavours you get from a disposable vape, so expect plenty of heavy full-frontal flavour!
They have also been designed to work specifically with the XROS line of vape pods to offer an alternative to single use disposable vapes. But they can of course be used with any device.
A large range of 20 different flavours make up the full Deliciu range and we have been sent 10 of these from Vaporesso for review.
These have a nicotine salt base, are available in 10 and 20mg strengths.
They are mixed to a 50/50 VG/PG ratio coming in 10ml bottles.
Deliciu is a riff on the French translation for delicious and Vaporesso say that they have been developed to provide a luscious and delicious experience with your pod kit.
Innovative ingredients have been used in the mix, to provide authentic flavour. Plus they boast a coil-friendly blend with less sweetener compared to similar e-liquids.
Many thanks to Vaporesso for sending the Deliciu range in for review, along with the Vaporesso XROS Pro that we have previously reviewed. They also supplied a couple of packs of XROS Series 1ohm mesh coils! I’ll be using that set up for this review…
Packaging
In the UK, the Deliciu range comes in a strikingly bold orange coloured box. Clearly displaying the Deliciu logo and all required information such as a nicotine warning, nicotine strength, flavour, ingredients and contact information.
Inside the box, the bottle comes shrink wrapped and an information leaflet is included. The e-liquids themselves are in 10ml TPD compliant bottles, with childproof caps. A thin bottle nozzle is present, making it easy to fill a pod.
Pineapple Ice
They say
Vaporesso Deliciu Pineapple Ice celebrates the classic tropical flavours of juicy Pineapples complemented by a refreshing icy touch to envelop your taste buds in a chilly paradise.
We say
A spot on representation of Pineapple flavouring here. The commitment to authenticity is clear, with one of the most realistic tasting Pineapple flavourings I’ve ever tried!
It’s been nailed right down to having the same sort of mouthfeel you would expect from the actual fruit, with the bite and sweetness replicated too.
A cooling sensation comes in at the end and the balance is just right here, neither too subtle nor too overpowering.
Definitely won’t be getting brain freeze off of this one!
Lemon Lime
They say
Vaporesso Deliciu Lemon Lime plays a zesty duet of tangy Lemons and bittersweet Lime in this stunning and vibrant infusion, leaving your tastebuds in citrusy ecstasy.
We say
Again, as per the Pineapple Ice flavour, I’m taken aback with the authenticity of the flavours here!
Rather than replicating a Lemon and Lime beverage, this is more like a mix of the two actual fruits themselves. Except without too much of the citrusy sharpness!
If I’m being picky, I would have liked a bit more Lemon flavouring in this one, as I felt that the Lime overpowered it slightly. But other than that, I have no complaints!
I get a hint of koolada at the end, playing off really nicely with the Lemon and Lime flavours.
Blackberry Lime
They say
Vaporesso Deliciu Blackberry Lime features an e-liquid bursting with vibrant and robust tones of Blackberries with a zesty kick of Lime to complement the aftertaste.
We say
Now this is an intriguing little number.
Blackberry isn’t a flavour I’ve experienced in an e-liquid before and after trying out Blackberry Lime Deliciu suffice to say I want more! The contrast between the two flavours is excellent, with the Lime cutting through the Blackberry and complimenting it perfectly.
As with the others I’ve tried, the flavours taste very authentic and there’s plenty of flavour present without it being too overpowering.
Something a bit different with this one, a really tasty flavour combination!
Menthol
They say
Vaporesso Deliciu Menthol offers that classic cooling sensation you can only get from pure natural menthol bringing a refreshingly icy touch to your vaping adventures.
We say
I am partial to a good menthol vape and this is one of the better ones I have tried.
It’s a straightforward flavour, but a very well balanced and smooth one. The cooling nip of menthol providing a refreshing blast to my tastebuds and it isn’t too strong, but rather quite pleasant.
Handy to have whilst reviewing this range, I have a few Vaporesso XROS Pro’s and I had one permanently set up with menthol whilst reviewing this range, working as an excellent palate cleanser in between trying out all of these tasty flavours!
Kiwi Passion Fruit Guava
They say
Vaporesso Deliciu Kiwi Passion Fruit Guava boasts the tropical trio featuring sweet Passion Fruit, and juicy Guava with a citrusy kick of Kiwis to parade through your vaping palate.
We say
I can often find that a lot of Kiwi Passion Fruit Guava e-liquids are very sharp and sweet, or the balance of the flavours becomes completely lost.
Not so here, the balance is pretty spot on with this one. There’s very authentic tasting Passion Fruit and Kiwi, with a delightful undertone of Guava. Not once did I feel that one flavour was dominating the other, or that a flavour was in danger of being lost in the mix, which is a good sign of a well-blended e-liquid.
This is much better tasting than the disposable versions, that is for sure!
Blueberry Sour Raspberry
They say
Vaporesso Deliciu Blueberry Sour Raspberry plays a delightful melody of ripe Blueberries and floral notes of Raspberry with a sour kick to your exhale, perfect for those seeking a cheeky yet juicy vaping session.
We say
Really enjoyed this one!
Not sure of a floral Raspberry note? This is more of a sweet and juicy Raspberry flavour note, contrasting really well with the sour Raspberry. And as a bonus, with a mix containing less sweetener than your average Blueberry Sour Raspberry e-liquid, you get more of the punchy sourness from the Blueberry coming through.
A well-mixed Blueberry Sour Raspberry e-liquid!
Pineapple Peach Mango
They say
Vaporesso Deliciu Pineapple Peach Mango infuses a decadently luscious and exotic trio of smooth Mango and juicy Peaches enjoyed on the inhale and exquisite Pineapple flavour softening the inhale.
We say
I was left a little disappointed with this one. Pineapple, Peach and Mango are three of my favourite fruity flavours, so I was looking forward to giving it a go.
It is a little too subtle for my tastes. I just couldn’t help but feel like something was lacking. I felt that the Peach took centre stage, with a slight note of Mango in the background and the Pineapple note was hardly detectable at all.
Not a bad e-liquid by any means, it could do with a touch more flavouring and a more well-balanced mix!
Apple & Pear
They say
Vaporesso Deliciu Apple & Pear delivers a sweet and succulent infusion blended with crisp Red Apples and juicy Pears to hit that sweet spot for every vaping enthusiast.
We say
Oooh this one is absolutely delicious!
A sublime blend of authentic tasting Apple and Pear, that really lets the natural flavours of these two shine through. The mix is pretty much perfect, neither of these flavours dominates the other and the result is a well delivered blend of two very tasty flavours.
It’s crisp, naturally sweet and a delicious combination.
Fizzy Cherry
They say
Vaporesso Deliciu Fizzy Cherry releases rich enticing notes of ripe Cherries infused with a sparkling fizziness, captivating all your senses with each inhale.
We say
This features a really bold Cherry flavour and it’s actually one of the most realistic Cherry flavours that I have had a go on! It features the richness of a Cherry along with that mouthwatering mouth feel.
Quite a few fizzy Cherry flavours feature more of a candied Cherry flavour, but with this one it goes for capturing realism.
And it does it very well indeed. It’s just let down by a lack of fizz, there’s a slightly detectable tingle to it, but not much else there.
I’ve not had a lot of luck with detecting any fizz with any of the fizzy e-liquids I’ve tried recently!
Final Review Verdict
Vaporesso’s first e-liquid range is an absolute winner. If you use disposables, you should seriously look into this range and grabbing yourself a pod system to vape it in. You would have a much better experience, trust me!
They have committed to delivering a full flavoured experience, without having to rely on a mountain of sweetener in order to achieve it. And they have done so superbly, not only do these provide a ton of flavour, they are kind on my coils too.
I have found with some fruit flavoured e-liquids that I could be replacing a pod or a coil before I have even got through a 10ml bottle, due to the amount of sweetener packed into them.
Not so here, I actually vaped though 60ml worth of these e-liquids before I felt that I needed to replace one of my pods, which will also mean that you’ll save money on buying pods.
Great stuff from Vaporesso and I hope to see this range expanded in the future – hopefully to include some dessert and perhaps tobacco flavoured options!
