Swansea based Decadent Vapours pride themselves on not only their intriguing set of e-liquid recipes but also on their expertise in blending the perfect brew.
With so many e-liquids out there all with their own marketing methods and gimmicks you can get lost in fog and end up with a bottle bought on sales patter rather than taste and vapour.
So is vaping on these e-liquids pure decadence?
Let’s have a taste.
E-liquids supplied were all a 60/40% PG and VG mix.
Harlequin
They say:
An artfully smooth blend of sweet red berries, banana and a creamy vanilla, with an unexpected twist of dark liquorice…
I say:
Wow… Now this was a pleasant surprise. At first glance you’d think the flavour here was a little too rich especially with the addition of liquorice.
However the whole thing works extremely well indeed. On the inhale you do get the most delicious mouth-watering mix of red berries and banana but it’s the exhale that blows you away.
The aniseed taste of liquorice is a joy especially with the perfect level of vanilla cooling it down.
A very moorish vape indeed.
Zephyr
They say:
A refreshing and revitalising concoction of bittersweet lemon, lightly tangy botanicals and fizzy sherbet…
I say:
Think a tangy and not too sweet summer sorbet with a hint of herb and you’ll get the idea.
The exhale with the merest hint of sherbet is fabulous – I love this e-liquid!!!
Carnival
They say:
An uplifting summer infusion of sweet strawberry and fleshy orange with a cooling touch of spearmint and fresh cucumber…
I say:
I reviewed this on a dull drizzly chilly November afternoon and my first taste convinced me it was high summer and I was enjoying a large pitcher of Pims – this is delicious!
My mouth was filled with fresh strawberry and a tang of orange on the inhale whilst the spearmint and cucumber cleansed my palate demanding I took another draw – absolutely stunning.
Jack Black
I had no flavour notes to go with however what I can say is this is another outstanding e-liquid.
Not sure if our American and European friends hand a sweet [candy] called a Black Jack – but it was one of my favourite penny mix sweeties as a boy.
Decadent Vapours has taken this childhood sweet shop favourite and replicated the flavour as an e-liquid perfectly.
Think sweet liquorice and aniseed that doesn’t make your teeth black or pull your fillings out 😉
Final Review Verdict
Decadent is the word with this set of e-liquids – they really are high end luxury blends wonderfully balanced and crafted – this is vaping indeed decadence.
The 60/40% PG and VG mix might suggest vapor production might not be as much as you’d expect, but you’ll be pleasantly surprised by that too – it was excellent and the smell in my office was divine.
Craft beers seem to be all the range in the pubs in my town of late and if you have a discerning palate and are looking for an artisan craft e-liquid then Decadent Vapours Art Blend is a range you need to try.
