The DaVinci MIQRO Vaporizer review, and as the name suggests, this is the micro version of the top of the range DaVinci IQ vaporizers.
This company really does produce, some might say, the Rolls Royce of vaporizers with the DaVinci IQ 1 and 2 being the vaporizer of choice for many of us out there.
I say us, I’ve been fortunate to review both, and the DaVinci IQ 2 vaporizer blew me away, pushing away the awesome Firefly 2 as my first choice on a session 🙂
So let’s see if micro, or in this case MIQRO, means smaller in performance and not just size.
What Can We Expect From the DaVinci MIQRO Vaporizer?
Just like the larger vaporizers in the range, you can alter you temperature settings at the press of a switch.
The oven pearl features too, not only does it help tamp down your herb, it can also be adjusted to lessen the capacity.
There’s no airflow control as such, however swapping out the mouthpieces can significantly change the draw.
Sadly this isn’t a dual device – as in use with herbs and wax – but that’s not really an issue.
Obviously being a micro version, there’s a smaller external battery and in this case it’s a 900mAH 18350 – given this is a vaporizer and not an e-liquid vape device, that’s certainly enough power for purpose.
OK, this was sent to me direct from DaVinci – thank you so much – and as always, my thoughts and opinions are NOT swayed by freebies.
For the record I used CBD Flower and not Marijuana for review purposes…
Vaporizers can be used with all kinds of herbs from Catnip to Mint and a quick Google will show you the benefits users say they get from legal herbs.

A few minutes with the DaVinci MIQRO Vaporizer and you’ll soon get the hang of it all 🙂
Design and Build Quality
I’ve been fortunate to review all of the DaVinci vaporizers and as always the build design is very good indeed.
Though saying that, I still have a slight issue with the battery door latch.
I mentioned it on the DaVinci 2 and the same issue is on the Davinci MIQRO Vaporizer – it feels a little flimsy and can be a pain to get it to bite shut.
I have a feeling the adjustable oven pearl may be another weak point.
It’s screwed onto a rubbery post and again feels a little flimsy…
Other than those two niggles, everything else is smooth and very well made.
The Same But Smaller !
Design wise it’s an exact micro version of the larger ones.
It has a bit of weight to it – and size wise it fits snugly in the hand and of course is very pocket and bag friendly.
I did at first think the instructions sticker on the back was part of the design – it isn’t and can be removed lol…I get worse ha!
The DaVinci MIQRO Vaporizer has the same ceramic air path and coupled with the zirconium air flow system, I’m expecting the same level of flavour and clouds as the larger versions…we shall of course see.
The LED lights on the front are clear and bright and you can easily read the temp mode you’re in – as you can see above you can turn those off to go stealthy.
A nice touch is that after a ‘session’ the LED lights can form a ‘secret message’ letting you know if you’ve won a prize…I haven’t!
USB Cover…
Oh dear – this is a real pain in the a**!
To get to the USB port you have to remove a little logo embossed silicone plug.
It’s NOT attached to the device and will/does seem to have a mind of its own.
I’ve lost count the amount of times it’s sailed off into the distance – so be careful!
Obviously losing it doesn’t affect performance – it just looks better with it in!
How Does the DaVinci MIQRO Vaporizer Perform?
For such a small device you can pack quite a bit of product into the DaVinci MIQRO Vaporizer oven…quite impressive really.
As mentioned you can adjust the ‘oven pearl’ and that will cut down on the amount – it also tamps everything down nicely.
If I’m honest I wasn’t expecting the flavour to match that of the larger vaporizers, however I was pleasantly surprised.
Mid Temp Perfect For Me
Using my go to CBD Flower, whilst the flavour at the highest temperature setting was slightly – and I mean slightly – less than I’m used to, it was very good indeed.
It just lacked a little bit of depth, no big thing in the scheme of things.
Speaking of temperature, I found the lowest setting was decent, mid range at 410F was near perfect, whilst the highest setting did feel a tad too warm for me.
You can of course alter the temp by using the up and down buttons [see above].
DaVinci MIQRO Vaporizer Mouthpieces
On the larger versions I’m happier with the extended mouthpiece.
I find that a lot looser than the flat one.
On a scale of 1:10 with 10 being tight, the flat one is around an 8 to 8.5…as in tight!
On the same scale but airy, I find the longer one about a 7 to 7.5 – a nice restricted lung vape so to speak.
It’s a pity there’s no actual airflow control, I’m sure that’s something down the road on future large and mini versions.
DaVinci MIQRO Vaporizer Battery Life
Given one this is a vaporizer not a vape, a 900mAH battery ain’t that much of an issue.
It charges anywhere from between an hour to 90 minutes.
And given you don’t use a vaporizer as much as you would a vape – unless you’re a real hardcore stoner – fully charged you can get about 45 minutes to an hour’s session.
Remember this is a micro vaproizer – for longer party sessions go with a larger device…me being Captain Obvious again…but you get my drift…
Pros
- Good flavour and clouds
- Temperature options
- Choice of mouthpiece
- Generous oven – can change capacity
- Simple elegant design
- Decent battery life
- Great price!
- FIVE year warranty!
Cons
- Battery door latch could become an issue
- USB cover port far too fiddly
- Adjustable oven pearl a little flimsy
Final Review Verdict
I really like the DaVinci MIQRO Vaporizer, despite a couple of minor irritations.
It’s ideal for on the go herbal vaping and especially for those that don’t need to vape on a bucketful of herbs lol.
On my first vape I did have a bit of a struggle getting a good deep lungful, however fiddling with the packing, temp and mouthpiece made things much better.
Not a big learning curve, but like most things, trial and error is the way to go.
For its size it certainly delivers a powerful hit once you get your settings right, and fully packed I was able to vape in Boost Mode for a good 10-15 minutes with obvious breaks in between.
If this is your first vaporizer you really will be pleased with the flavour and clouds and at a decent entry price point I certainly recommend it.
So is this a vaporizer you’re using or thinking of buying?

I really like it but I didn’t get some tools like cleaning tools
