The Cthulhu RBA AIO Box is quite interesting to say the least!
Apart from being horrible to spell, Cthulhu have made a name for themselves with some quality vape gear including the Tube Mod, Hastur Mod, Artemis MTL RTA and Hastur MTL RTA.
What To Expect From The Cthulhu RBA AIO Box…
The beauty of this kit is that it is compatible with the popular “Boro” tanks which you do need to purchase separately.
As a quick explanation the “Boro” tank is a removable refillable e-liquid chamber first used on the Billet Box mods. It gets its name from the fact that the slide off tank panel is made of Borosilicate Glass and you get a good clear view of the contents. There are a lot of different devices now which are compatible with these tanks – making them popular.
Inside the the tank is a “Bridge”. The bridge is basically a coil holder and for the Boro range you can get many different bridges compatible with stock coils from other manufacturers. The most common bridges are for the Kangertech OCC coils, Smok Nord Coils, Vaporesso EUC Coils and Aspire Nautilus Coils. Plus of course there are different RBA decks too.
This kit does come with its own 6ml CM Cthulhu tank which has an RBA deck and replaceable airflow inlet pins. There is also an adaptor to allow you to use the deck on a standard 510 connector when building for test firing and dry burning the coil to clean.
The included tank also has a bridge to allow you to use Aspire Nautilus coils if you don’t fancy the RBA DIY route.
The DIY deck is a GTA (Genesis Styled Tank) type where the deck is separate from the e-liquid chamber and wicks drop down to feed the e-liquid to the coil. A similar style to that found on the Digiflavor Siren RTAs.
As expected with this being a MTL (Mouth To Lung) device this only uses a single coil deck and the coil build will be pretty tiny to fit inside the tank!
If you remove the tank the base houses the airflow pin holder and intake, you can choose from either the 0.8mm, 1.2mm, 1.6mm or 2mm airflow pins – all are included in the kit. The wider the airflow pin the more incoming air you will get.
The tank section has a filler port which does save you from having to remove the tank to refill.
Looking now at the more simple part of this kit – the actual mod! This uses a single 18650 battery and also has a USB Type C charge port which can be used at up to a 0.7A charge rate.
The output is variable from 5-60W (1-8V) and you have Variable Wattage, Variable Voltage, Bypass, Temperature control and TCR user modes.
A 0.49in colour OLED screen is provided plus the fire button has a colour LED indicator. You can turn off the screen and LED if you wish.
Here is an introduction video from Cthulhu to give you a closer look.
There are 4 colour options to choose from: Elegant Black, Mid-night Green, Pacific Blue and the gorgeous Hot Pink.
