CoilArt Mage Mech V2.0 Stacked Edition Preview

The CoilArt Mage Mech V2.0 Stacked Edition is a new release following on from the original Mage Mech mod.

The CoilArt website gives little detail on the original Mage Mech mod however it does appear to be a single battery 18650 mod.

The V2.0 can use 18650 (with adaptors), 21700 or 20700 batteries.

In standard form you would use this with a single battery. However the kit does include the stacking tube so you can add an extra battery in series to give more power – although the total battery capacity will only be the same as a single battery. You will need to be well versed in battery safety and Ohms law to use this mod safely.

The 510 connector is a Hybrid style – which basically means there is no 510 connector as such – the tank base is open to the battery contacting it when the base switch is pressed to fire. Having a direct connection to the battery reduces the path and components through which the power has to travel – each extra component adds more resistance. You must of course choose an atomiser which is Hybrid compatible.

The generous kit includes extra fire pins, extra buttons and extra springs – so you will have plenty of spares. Plus of course with mech mods there is so much less to go wrong.

The only colour option is the Electroplated Frosted black colour which overlies the Brass construction tube and internal insulation.

This looks to be a versatile kit with the stacking option and battery choices.
