The Coil Juice Co Eclypse line of e-liquids promise to be fresh and fruity – if that’s the case we shall certainly see in this review.
The Coil Juice Co. has been in business since 2016 – so relatively new to the vape world.
I have to say that this is my first experience of their juice.
Finding some information on the company has proven to be a little difficult.
Their website about us page is basically blank…

Their Facebook profiles describes themselves as an online retailer stocking the best e-liquids on the market.
What I did find is the juice itself is manufactured in the US and imported to the UK – its actually on the back of the bottles.
The bottles themselves came to me with a promotion card giving the profiles of all eight of the juice flavours.
What Can We Expect From These Coil Juice Co Eclypse Liquids?
Looking at the profiles, I’m hopeful for big things here.
A lot of the flavours are of those that I would call my go to, such as the mango and blue berries.
I’m also quite intrigued by the coconut option, I absolutely love coconut but have never really come across many juices with that in their profile.
All bottles have a mix ratio of 70/30 zero nicotine and in 50ml short-fill bottles, these are aimed at the Direct to Lung (DTL) vaper and I am hopeful for some mouth watering experiences.
Placing a 10 ml nic shot into the bottles will bring you nic level to 3mg, which lets face it, is the nic level that the majority of DTL vapers use.
If you are one of the few that go for a 6mg nic level, you are not going to get enough nicotine into those bottles.

For the purposes of this test, I will be using the Wotofo Recurve with an Interlock Clapton Coil with a resistance of 0.2 ohms.
I will also be using my ever trusty Lost Vape Therion DNA 166 work horse, running at 80watts.
These bottles of e-juice have been supplied by Coil Juice Co free of charge for the purposes of the review and I will give my honest opinion.
Coil Juice Co Eclypse Gushin Guava Limeade
Coil Juice Co Says:
An exotic blend of ripe pink guavas, musky yet sweet undertones create a full bodied experience when paired with the acidity of our limeade base.
I Say:
Having a sniff of the bottle you can smell the guava with a hint of lime in there.
Quite a fresh smell and quite pleasant, not over powering.
The inhale with this brought in the guava taste, again subtle and not too strong.
The exhale immediately hits a slightly stronger guava flavour, sort of a mix of strawberries and pears.
Halfway through the exhale you will get the lime after taste, quite pleasant actually.
Not too sweet either, you could vape on this all day if you are not a fan of overpowering flavours.
Coil Juice Co Eclypse Crushin’ Coconut Limeade

Our aim was to create a refreshing and palatable experience in stepping away from overbearing sweetness.
Coconut water and lime complement each other to create the vape you never knew you missed.
I Say:
The smell from the bottle is interesting, a complete mix of coconut and lime, not one over powering the other.
A drip on the finger and straight onto the tongue brought an immediate lime, for about half a second I started to think no coconut in this and then BANG out of nowhere, coconut, quite strong and fades leaving a very nice aftertaste.
I love coconut so this excited me a bit.
The inhale from the vape is lime, just lime.
Exhaling and again you get the sense that this is purely a lime flavoured vape.
The coconut does not come along until you have finished exhaling and even then it takes a few seconds, it lingers for a moment then its gone.
Very disappointing considering that finger test.
Coil Juice Co Eclypse Cheeky Cherry Limeade

A mixture of multiple cherries was pivotal to represent a highly underrated fruit that pairs perfectly with the refreshing taste of our limeade base.
I Say:
Smelling the bottle I am getting a kind of cherryade.
The finger test gives you a strong sweet cherry taste, for a cherry fan you will like that, very nice.
With the inhale again I am getting the lime base flavour.
On the exhale the lime base takes charge of your palate.
The cherries do make an appearance, very subtly though and that sweetness from the finger test does not reappear.
Yes an appearance but they have literally just popped their head round the corner.
Eclypse Strawberry Kiwi Lemonade

Our slightly tarty kiwi on the inhale work in tandem with our realistic strawberry on the exhale whilst out limeade base lingers throughout for a full bodied vaping experience.
I Say:
The smell from the bottle gives you the lemon base with a mix of candied strawberries.
The finger test is lead by a strong candy strawberry flavour, a hint of kiwi and a hint of lemon.
The inhale is a bit confusing with this one, it is a pure mix of the strawberry and lemon.
With the exhale, the strawberry comes to the forefront, again subtly but it is there, the lemon does actually linger in the background.
I was not able to pick up on the kiwi on this one at all.
Coil Juice Co Eclypse Burstin’ Blue Lemonade

This is our take on a mixture of everyone’s favourite berries.
Blueberries & raspberries distinctly sharp edge harmonise with our citrusy lemonade to create a unique profile.
I Say:
Smelling the bottle my head went to smelling a packet of starburst, you can really pickup on the lemon and raspberries.
The finger test is just like starburst again, lemon, raspberries and blueberries are in there.
Hopes are getting high.
On the inhale you get that lemonade base which is quite nice with this.
The exhale brings quite a harmonizing taste of berries and lemon, not one over powers the other.
I can see this one becoming one of my all day vapes, no question.
Coil Juice Co Eclypse Mega Mango Lemonade

I Say:
There is a lovely mango smell from the bottle, mango can be quite strong and it does totally overpower any hints of lemon.
The finger test hits you with that citrusy lemon but only for a split second.
The mango then takes over which is really quite nice.
The inhale give you a very subtle lemon followed straight with the mango flavour.
The exhale is pure mango, not too strong and not overly sweet.
The aftertaste brings a bit more of that subtle lemon.
For a mango fan, this one is pretty spot on, really enjoying this juice and another one that will become one of my all day vapes.
Coil Juice Co Eclypse Melon Medley Lemonade

This trifecta of melons will make you feel like you’re onto a winner with notes of watermelon, honeydew and cantaloupe balanced to perfection with undertones of lemonade.
I Say:
Melon, pure melon from smelling the bottle, nothing more, nothing less.
The finger test is a melon attack on your tongue, mixing evenly between the watermelon, honeydew and cantaloupe.
No sign of the lemonade base quite yet.
The inhale gives you the lemonade base, very subtly but it is there on its own.
On the exhale you get a mouth bursting melody of the melon flavours, all 3 are there and it is quite a satisfying taste experience.
I’m not even a fan of melons but I really enjoy this one.
Coil Juice Co Eclypse Punchin’ Peach Lemonade
Coil Juice Co Says:
A soft and juicy peach accompanied by our subtle signature lemonade makes for a refreshing all day vape.
I Say:
Smelling the bottle the lemonade base is definitely coming through.
Tasting it on the finger gives you quite a sweet peach with the lemon following subtly behind.
On the inhale is the lemonade base.
With the exhale, the sweetness of the peach has dropped making it a bit more satisfying and not so punch in the mouth as the finger test.
I am also getting what seems like a bit of a berry from it as well, it is very slight but its there in the forefront with the peach.
Final Review Verdict
This was actually quite tricky for a couple of the juices.
Some good and some disappointments.
The coconut, man that was the one I was most excited by and the one that let me down the most.
After that taste from the finger I couldn’t see how it wouldn’t win me over.
The fact is the coconut just didn’t come through in the vape and that’s where the flavour counts.
A couple did win me over, the mango and blueberry flavours for me are bang on the money.
They didn’t go overboard sweetening it and I can truly see myself getting a couple more bottles of this.
The remaining though where just OK, I mean, I’m not going to purposely go out and hunt for them, either online or on the street.
Flavour profiles can be subjective to the person and these views are mine and mine alone.
The big question for me though is, if I see different flavour profiles being released by the company, will I buy them – I’d want to vape it first.
If anything, this review shows how you can’t trust the taste test by putting a drop of juice on your finger, you HAVE to vape it to find out.
