Charlies Chalk Dust is an extremely well known American based juice company.
When I’m looking into a product for review, generally my first stop would be the company’s web site, and Charlie’s About Us page is a bit different from the norm.
Firstly, there is a 22 minute YouTube video telling us the story of how Charlie’s Chalk Dust began, and who is involved – quite an interesting watch.
Secondly you will see the story of Charlie, a young lad selling zucchinis door to door.

What Can We Expect From These Charlie’s Chalk Dust Liquids?
This is going to be my first experience of Charlie’s Chalk Dust, and some of the flavour profiles sound interesting.
I have vaped some interesting combinations in the past, I’ve even vaped a cheese flavour which I will never speak about…still have nightmares about it…
Cucumber???? Really??
The four bottles of juice have a mix ratio of 70/30 zero nicotine and in 50ml short-fill bottles.
The bottles give enough room to add a 10ml nic shot, which will bring you up to 60ml of juice with 3mg nicotine.

For the taste tests, I shall be using the Wotofo Recurve, built with a 0.3 ohm Flat Clapton running at 65 Watts.
I’ll be placing this on top of the Yihi SXmini G Class.
These bottles of e-juice have been supplied free of charge for the purposes of the review and I will give my honest opinion.
Charlie’s Chalk Dust Black Ice
Charlie’s Chalk Dust Says:
Juicy tart blackberries balanced harmoniously with refreshingly crisp cucumber and completing the flavor profile, a cool menthol finish.
I Say:
Smelling the bottle you get the fresh, crisp blackberry aroma.
You can also pick up a hint of the menthol.
Putting a drop on the finger has quite a sharp taste, you really get the menthol from it and you really get it hitting the roof of your mouth.
On the inhale you are getting a hint of that cucumber flavour with a hint of menthol.
Exhaling you get a combination of both the cucumber and blackberries, nearing the end of your exhale the menthol comes to the forefront.
I was a bit dubious of this one to begin with, like let’s face it, cucumber??
Well, I’m a convert, this just works. the cucumber and blackberry compliment each other perfectly.
Charlie’s Chalk Dust Big Belly Jelly
Charlie’s Chalk Dust Says:
There is nothing sweeter than a perfectly ripe watermelon flavored candy. Pair that with a tart juicy blueberry jelly bean and you have a Big Berry ADV!
I Say:
Taking a whiff from the bottle you definitely pick up on the watermelon, you can nearly smell the sweetness.
Doing the finger test and yes, it’s definitely watermelon, it hits you straight from the start then a real pleasant sweetie blueberry comes through.
The inhale is all about the watermelon, it seems like a fresh fruity watermelon until you start to exhale, the candy starts to kick in with the sweet watermelon mixed with blueberry.
You really do get the jellybean sort of feel from it. Just the right level of sweetness.
Charlie’s Chalk Dust Wonder Worm
Charlie’s Chalk Dust Says:
If you were to take a sweet-tart and a fresh chewy gummy worm in your mouth and just let them settle on your tongue, you would have the soul and spirit of this completely alluring ejuice.
I Say:
How to describe the smell from the bottle?
Get yourself a wee bag of jellied sweets, open the bag and place you nose in it and inhale, there you go.
The taste from a drip on the finger is eye opening, it’s just like having a non watered down 100% pure concentrate of gummy sweets.
The inhale and exhale are both all about the gummy taste, slightly sweet.
I’m not picking up a tart flavour mixed in it, I did try upping the wattage to 70 but still got the full burst of gummy worms.
Charlie’s Chalk Dust Mustache Milk
Charlie’s Chalk Dust Says:
No cliche here, this e-liquid captivates with not only the taste but the smell.
It’s the quintessential picture of people happily smiling while showing off the “milk mustache” they have after a pure and enjoyable chug of rich, creamy and smooth milk.
Only this is better as you get the sweetness of the cereal taste to add that perfect combination!
I Say:
The smell from the bottle was like sniffing a bag of Werthers Originals.
The finger test was a tad different from what I was expecting, creamy but with a hint of perfume?
We must have all had that perfume taste at some point, almost acidic.
This is a difficult one to figure out.
You pick up a sort of warm milk flavour on the inhale, it gets a bit confusing for me on the exhale.
The milky taste disappears immediately, it’s replaced with something sweet, almost apple with a hint of butterscotch and burnt milk.
Quite a confusing flavour profile.
Final Review Verdict
Couple of winners in here for me, one OK and one a bit of a no no.
When I read the flavour profile of the Black Ice the first thing I thought was it sounds rotten.
Hell no, this was by far my favourite – an easy all day vape, all day every day!
For me the Moustache Milk was extremely confusing, there were flavours in there that I just couldn’t identify.
It could be an American cereal flavour that we are just not familiar with in the UK.
It is understandable how Charlie’s Chalk Dust did receive a nomination into the 2019 Ecigclick awards, I would have nominated for the Black Ice alone.
