The Dovpo X BP Mods Iaido DNA 60W Box Mod is a new super sexy release with some great features.
BP Mods and Dovpo have had a few collaborations recently including the Hilt Mosfet mod, Bushido V3 RDA and the Pioneer MTL RTA.

One thing which caught my eye is the name – Iaido – which is a Japanese Martial Art. Originally the mod was to be called the “Laido” which was apparently a translation mistake – and the term apparently means Repulsive or Obscene in Italian!
The mod has a great brain to start with – the Evolv DNA60W chipset which also allows you to upgrade and customise the firmware using the Escribe software.
Cleverly this mod is also able to use two different batteries – which also changes this from a full size mod to a compact mod.
If using a 18650 battery this simply inserts into the 18650 battery tube included in the kit.
However if you want a smaller device grab a 18350 battery, remove the lower portion of the mod and replace with the 18350 adaptor and you are away with a tiny box mod.
The output is rated as 1-60W and from what I can see you have Variable Wattage and Temperature Control user modes. If you use the Escribe software apparently you can activate Custom Curve modes too.
The display is a 0.69in OLED screen and the control buttons are located to the side of the mod.
Included in the generous kit are 2 beauty rings – 24mm and 22mm – these make the connection between the tank and mod look a lot smoother.
The USB port can handle up to 1A charging and is also utilised for connection to the Escribe software.
