The Mate Disposable Sub Ohm Tank By Blitz Previewed

The Blitz Mate Disposable Sub Ohm Tank is as you can probably tell another “throw away” style sub ohm tank.

Blitz have created some great products in the past I loved the Blitz Intrepid RTA and Laura-ann was very impressed with the Blitz Ghoul RDA.

The main vaping trend of the last year was Pod Mods. Simple devices which are easy to use – generally using disposable tanks called “Pods”.

So I suppose it was inevitable that disposable tanks would be the next step.versus blue

Recently there have been two disposable sub ohm tanks released – Teslacigs One and the VZone Preco.

I do understand the appeal of the disposable – no messy coil changes and some of these sell in multi packs for less than you would pay for replacement coil heads.

But I also do despair at the thought of all that waste – when only a small portion of the whole tank is likely to need replacing to make it function as good as new.versus black

Anyway turning off my conscience the Mate tank offers a 4ml e-liquid capacity and its filled from the top cap.

Inside the tank is a 0.15ohm non replaceable mesh coil head. Apparently this is wicked with Wood pulp cotton and natural flax fibre. We found some of these strange wicking materials in the Horizon Falcon coils and they did work amazingly well.versus red

The tank body is made from food grade plastic and stainless steel with a Delrin drip tip on the top.

The tanks come in packs of 2 and as mentioned above as soon as the coil head fails you simply throw it away. I have heard rumours that the VZone Preco tank can be recycled – so I do hope this is an option.

There are 4 colours to choose from – Red, Blue, Clear and Black.

So yeah – again I am a bit stumped as I do feel these are adding to the mountains of waste needlessly.

But I can see how they would be useful for beginners, those who want fuss free vaping and perhaps as a back up tank when away from home.

It took me a few years to fully quit smoking but I finally stopped in June 2019 and that is all thanks to vaping! 20mg Nicotine Salts are my hero! Oh and I am partial to a nice pod mod and Bubblegum e-liquid! I have reported on the latest news on Ecigclick since 2017 and love being part of this great team! 1. Its funny how no one gave two s*its about recycling or landfill waste, Now these disposable tanks come out and thats all everyone can talk about. No one says anything about all the disposable sub ohm coils that get thrown away all the time. vOr all the plastic bottles that vape juice comes in. Everyone who vapes is either a current or former smoker and don’t seem to care about all the butts that get thrown all over the place. This comes out its actually a good idea and everyone just complains. Bet they wish they had one when they break their glass on their rta or burn out their cotton while “out and about”.
