The Aspire SLX Pod Kit is a new pre-filled pod mod from Aspire.
As mentioned above this is a “closed pod” system – which means you cannot refill the pods or replace the coil.
Instead when the pod is empty you simply discard it and replace with a new one. Slightly wasteful but ideal for those who don’t want to mess around with refilling and coil changing.
The pods contain 2ml of e-liquid but I haven’t seen the flavours or nicotine strengths mentioned as yet. Also apparently the pod is “leak proof” due to the CBS (Cotton Barrier System).
Inside the pod is the SLX ceramic coil which has a resistance of 1.3ohm.
The pod is held into the device magnetically so will be super simple to remove and install.
The battery part of the kit has an internal 450mAh battery which will output a constant 3.4V.
To use simply inhale on the mouthpiece and the device will fire automatically via the airflow sensor.
To recharge use the included USB cable and the battery should be fully charged in between 40 to 60 minutes.
The body houses the LED indicator light which changes colour to inform of the battery capacity remaining.
There are 3 colours to choose from: Black, Grey and Red.

I am not sure how big the market is for pre-filled pod devices but I can see how they would be really simple for new vapers! Plus anything which is a rival for the JUUL Pod kit is also a good thing!
