The Aspire Favostix Mini is the smaller sibling of the original Favostix.
Aspire seem to have lots of Pod Kit ranges right now, with the popular Vilter range, Minican and Flexus – so what is different for the Favostix?
What To Expect From The Aspire Favostix Mini…
Our beloved Late Neil Humber reviewed the original Favostix and highly recommended it for new and experienced vapers.
This is the simplified version of the original with no adjustments or screen provided.
However it is still compatible with the original fixed coil pods of the Favostix.
Unfortunately as the kit contents are not listed on the Aspire website I think this comes with the 1ohm pod which is a Kanthal material. The original also included a 0.6ohm pod.
The pods have fixed coils so no faffing about with changing coils, when the coil performance is poor simply replace the pod with a new one.
A bottom fill port allows you to fill the pod with up to 3ml of your own e-liquid. Sadly for TPD regulated areas as usual this is reduced to 2ml.
The main device has a 700mAh battery which is charged via the USB Type C port at a 1A charge rate. Aspire say this can be fully charged in 40 minutes.
You can no longer adjust the output so you are just getting whatever the battery is capable of pushing out – otherwise known as a “Bypass” output. The power can gradually diminish as the battery charge drops.
There is no fire button, this has draw activation, so simply inhale on the mouthpiece for the device to fire.
An LED indicator shows you the device status and charge level.
There are 12 colours to choose from: Green Gradient, Green/Pink Gradient, Blue Gradient, Pink Gradient, Gold Gradient, Red Gradient, Silver, Red, Grey, Blue, Black and Purple Gradient.
