The Doggystyle 2K18 RTA By Animodz Previewed
The Animodz Doggystyle 2K18 RTA is an update to the extremely popular 2K16 version.
The originals of these RTA are extremely expensive and very rare. The company only produce a few batches at a time.
So for us normal people the only chance we have is to buy a copy (clone) version.
I started rebuilding on a Doggystyle 2K16 clone and found it a lot easier than the Kayfun clone I had and it was very reliable.
The simplicity, performance and the fact it just worked without leaking made the 2K16 an excellent beginner RTA for MTL vapers.
So to improve on the original design the 2K18 has a few new features.
This time round you have a top fill cap – one of the downsides of the 2K16 was it was bottom fill.
Also you now get a juice control system – you can turn off the liquid supply or adjust it if using different thickness e-liquids.
The deck to me looks pretty similar to the original – with the basic 2 post design.
Here is a brief intro video from Animodz.

It goes without saying an original version of this is purse bustingly expensive and even Animodz themselves haven’t any in stock. So I think you need to be on a waiting list or strike quickly when batches are released.
Obviously there will be many “other” versions of this tank available – and considering the quality of the previous version copies they could still be an excellent buy.

I just placed an order for the 2K18. They released a new batch on the 12th of April. I’ve never owned the 2K16, so I’m very keen to get my hands on one. I’m happy about the new version having adjustable liquid flow and, more importantly, top-filling.
