The Mace Sub Ohm Tank By Ample
Following on from the success of the original Ample Mace BF RDA and the more recent Ample Mace X here is the new Ample Mace Sub Ohm Tank.
The observant of you will have already spotted the radial coil head. We have already had a few of these on the market – the Aspire Revvo tank and the Vandy Vape Maze to be exact.
The idea of the radial coil head is to increase the surface area which is heating the e-liquid to give more taste and vapour.
Ample also claim as the coil is at the base of the tank there is less distance for the electricity to travel and therefore more efficient power use.
The radial coil has two variants:
- AHC (Ample Hive Coil)
- ADC (Ample Dish Coil)
The AHC coil comes in 2 versions – F1 – 0.24-0.3ohm and the S1 – 0.18-0.23ohm. The ADC coil comes in 2 versions the F1 – 0.27-0.32 and the S1 – 0.15-0.2ohm. You get the ADC and AHC F1 versions in the kit.
A similar system to the Revvo tank the coil is held in place with a screw on cap.
There are various capacities for this tank, the EU edition is 3ml with a reduction plug to reduce it to the 2ml required to meet TPD regulations. The non EU kit is also 3ml but has a larger glass and connection tube to increase the capacity to 4.5ml.
There are 4 colours to choose from – Black, Silver, Blue and Rainbow.
Kit Includes
- Ample Mace Sub Ohm Tank
- ADC-F1 coil head (pre-installed)
- AHC-F1 coil
- Replacement glass
- Extending capacity connectors (non EU Version)

The jury is still out for me regarding the radial coils, however early reviews of the Revvo tank show it does kick out the clouds!
The price for this is reasonable and it looks great apart from the yellow drip tip!
